Hey everyone!  Delphox here.

I was just wondering what types of things you like to do around this time of year, or if you have any suggestions?

Here's what I usually do:

-Watch movies that match the holidays/seasons (like Harry Potter, The Santa Claus, Rise of the Guardians, Frozen, etc... Fun movies.  Feel free to suggest your favorite seasonal movies).

-Make/buy hot drinks (hot chocolate, apple cider, caramel mochas from Starbucks, etc...)

-SOUP.

-Decorate (Christmas tree, wreaths, stupid paper chains and snowflakes, etc...) lol

-Play in the snow.

-Get tired of the snow.

-Wish UK would cancel for snow. XD

-Dress my cats in elf costumes and antlers for 30 seconds of amusement...

I'll post more if I think of anything.  So how do you celebrate the seasons?  If you don't,

When I'm not sleeping, or eating I sit at my computer and play counter-strike allllll the time because it's cold out. I detest  the cold.

    I wish this wasn't in chit-chat :[

I stay at home the whole day. It's hotter than hell outside this time of the year.

I'll probably barricade myself inside until the warm weather returns.

Sleep and hope for a school delay or cancellation. If I get one, sleep some more. Make hot chocolate and stay in the shower until all the warm water is gone.

Go outside into the -30C or so weather and drag my Texas-grown girlfriend with me. And then try and find the biggest pile of snow I can find and walk through it.

In the one year I lived with my friend I watched the Grinch far more than anyone should ever be forced to. His mom loves the movie and she had it on constantly.

    No more.

I like to stay indoors, eat warm things, and watch holiday movies.

I also do the snowman dance and pray for it to snow.

(Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this ^)

At this time of year I tend to spend more time than I'd like trying to calm my dog down because of all the stupid, selfish bastards setting off fireworks constantly. Other than that it's business as usual.

It's not allowing me to quote right now, so I will hope you two see this!

@Scrafty I do that too!  But, Kentucky already gets quite a bit of snow, at least in the northern parts.  The thing is, I pray for A LOT of snow.  Enough to actually get me out of class for once.  Last year, we had ice covering the main roads because the city RAN OUT OF SALT due to the previous snowstorms we had, I almost got in a car accident, because CLASS STILL WASN'T CANCELLED!!!! It's ridiculous here.

    Anyone eat snowcream?

    @ Waser Lave Fireworks??? That's odd O_o

Well its already snowing up here, once the snow stays on the ground I go for walks around dusk, I bundle up my toddler with blankets and teddies in her sled. We do that in good weather right up until the snow turns to slush in the spring. We didn't go much last year because there were honest to fucking god wolves, coyotes, mange foxes sighted all over town daily it seemed.

    3. Pretend I'm the Grinch.

    4. Eat food.

    Basically this.

Avoid the outdoors because being cold sucks. It snowed a few hours from here last night, in the NC mountains. I'm not okay with NC getting snow yet. I'M NOT READYYYYYYYY.

I was very tempted to drive to Boone today for the football game, but my girlfriend didn't want to spend an afternoon in the snow.  :(

Cancelling school/work is really the only good thing about it snowing. :p

And Yikes!  Thankfully you weren't hurt!  How does one run out of salt?!!

I had snowcream once.  It was awesome. 8D

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Drink hot cocoa, eat delicious soup, wear cute winter clothes, sing Christmas songs at the top of your lungs, go for walks (well, maybe in Florida because it's not that cold but it's the perfect temp and not 95% humidity), decorate your house for full and long Christmas effect, bake delicious things, buy presents for loved ones (I love doing this, but I'm really bad about keeping it a secret because I always want them to be happy and excited about what I got them), hope for snow so class can be cancelled (it gets cancelled when there's like an inch here), drink hot coffee, read books and drink cocoa/coffee, have friends over and drink alcohol while watching movies, get a Christmas tree and spend the day decorating it and watching Christmas movies, watch all the Christmas movies! (25 days of Christmas on ABC Family, let's be real here), go ice skating (maybe not, I'd fall on my face).

    Make perfect snowballs like me:
