I was asked to fill out a "Aircraft Maintainer Retention Survey" a few weeks ago at work. In this survey I pretty much tore upper-level leadership a new asshole based on how us maintainers are generally treated. I mentioned the statistics of suicide within the Air Force, and DoD wide, which hovers around 22 people per day. A good chunk of those 22 people per day are aircraft mechanics (I wish I had the statistics handy because they're alarming), and that's unacceptable -- even 1 death is unacceptable. Now I have to have lunch with my commanding officer [CO] tomorrow regarding my answers. Not gonna lie that I'm kind of nervous, but what I said needed to be seen -- now it has. I'm sure she just wants me to elaborate on my answers.

Yeah I would start with /r/hitsworthturkingfor or any mTurk themed reddit. There is a wealth of info on there, and you'll probably come across links to forums that also are super beneficial. There are probably 4-5 extensions that make it easier and do the searching for you. Once you learn how to use those, you'll be golden. It is mainly answering a bunch of academic surveys and entering in a lot of personal information. It gets kind of tedious but if you are doing stuff like SwagBucks, it's definitely comparable and typically yields better results. Once you get good at it, you can probably make 6-10 bucks an hour no problem. I did it on my lunch break three days last week, so three hours, and I earned like $27. If you have any more in depth questions you can PM me. I think the best I've ever done is $180 in a month with about 20 hours logged. Some people can earn hundreds a day, but that would require sitting there for a while.

Seasonal depression is a bitch and haunts me every year. I know those feels. Congrats on the 6  months! Sounds like you have a hold of the situation. Conquer it and keep on!

I have been doing my own thing for awhile and don't really hang out with friends too much anymore. It is actually really nice not having to worry about their drama or what is going on in their lives. Except for the fact that I now feel like I am left out of a lot of group events because I have pulled back. Such is life though and people separate and come back together.
