You apparently get 1 of 3 cupcakes when it's your pets birthday. So create a pet and get your free cupcake today. Mixed results on what the cupcakes are doing. I'll update when I get more information.

The way to claim your cupcakes is view your pets look up . It's a non trade item, and some have reported 1 increase in the stat, while others have claimed 5. With the 2 that I have collected so far, they've done a +5.

ATM you can feed the cupcake to whatever pet you want to. It'll be in your inventory after you've received it.

I'm wondering, you could just create a bunch of accounts too and claim the cupcakes and let them sit there for a few months, once the age of the account is good transfer your pet throughout those account's when you can, and eat the cupcakes. Would this be risky though?

TNT fixed it quite fast yesterday where they stopped giving out the cupcakes to newly made pets.

 

So it's safe to assume if you make a pet on it's pet day, you can't get a cupcake.

I don't know why I put lvl . Fixed it, but doesn't really matter now.

 

 

 Also on a side note, you could find out the birthday of the all the pets in the pound and adopt them when it's their day or week, get the cupcake, and then abandon them again when you are allowed to.

Just as a warning to anybody planning on creating new pets. You have to wait a minimum of 7 days (168 hours) before you can abandon or otherwise move a pet that was just created!

This didn't work for me today. Is anyone else having trouble?

 

Edit: I tried it on a side with a different birthday pet and it worked, then I adopted it onto another side and it worked too. So you can get multiple cupcakes from the same pet. They may have imposed a per-account cupcake limit, or maybe it was just glitched. I think I've had 4 cupcakes on the account it didn't work on? In any case, worth looking into.

Which I thought was working pretty well for me.... until just now learning that their age is still listed on the petpages! This whole time I have been adopting pets ffffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuu

It's still a pain though having to do hours and deal with leap years and whatnot. But still possible to be abused
