There's a "What do you want for Christmas?" thread, but I think a thread to show what you want to get your friends and family would be just as nice. I love shopping for other people! Plus, you can ask for help on what to get people, ask for advice on something you've picked out, or help others.

 

I want to get one of these for my grandfather because he's a big coffee drinker. It's $16 on Etsy.

I love Etsy and those mugs are great! I will knit slippers and coffee cup cozies for my Mom and Mother in law, they'll get that in addition to a bottle of wine like every other year. The kids will get toys in abundance and I will live vicariously through them. :3 I usually get my Dad and Father in law a case of beer and something manly like tools. But it's just my father this year so, beer and tools.

 

I used to get my grandpa and step dad tools all the time! My grandpa still holds on to the first one I gave him when I was in elementary school like it's the greatest thing ever but it's one of those little kits. 

 

I really need to figure out what to get my mom and step dad though.

I found a really easy tutorial on arm knitting infinity scarves so I think I'm gonna do that for my sisters & mother in law. My niece is only 1 so maybe a few stuffed toys. Mom will probably get cash cause that's all she ever asks for. Boyfriend a new phone (he still has the iphone 4)   and I'm not really sure what my dad would like. He has everything he could possibly want. Maybe something Breaking Bad related.

 

I hate shopping for other people -_-

 

@Emily why don't you try making the mug? I see tuts for that all the time, super easy. All ya gotta do is use a permanent marker and bake it or something along those lines. I love StumbleUpon & Pinterest for these types of things

I wish I wouldn't be able to get the handwriting right. Definitely a lot cheaper. I wish I was good at that stuff.

I got my boyfriend a ceramic mug with a sculpt of his dog in the bottom so it uncovers as you drink.

A Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for the hubby... because he keeps stealing mine

Mom wants a family picture, and for me and the little one to come to Holland to celebrate christmas, so that's easy.

Little one isn't old enough to care, so she'll just get some toys.

Sister wants iphone coverS, because one just won't do!

Parents in law get a two week vacation to Thailand from all of us (Psht it's also for both of their 60th birthdays, which happens to be a couple of day before christmas)

If I forgot anyone after that they're out of luck, because now I'm broke

I intend on getting him Pokemon Sapphire! Probably some new house comfy jammie pants.and a case of red bull lol... and I will make him a homemade Christmas card like I do every year! We are celebrating Christmas in January when I get back from Ohio though!

I got my boyfriend an xbox one and a trip to LA .. so in other words .. i blew a lot of money because i like his face and what not.

 

And i made homemade christmas cards for all the lawyers i work with!

So far, I've bought a DVD, a toy phone, a nail art set and a Jawbone wristband (for me!). I still have a long way to go though to get presents for everyone I want to.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to get anything for my family/friends this year, maybe I'll send some postcards or nice letters over.

I'll probably get my mom and dad some little gadgets from Brookstone.  My mother loves books, so I'll probably get a book or two on her wishlist.  My brother... I dunno what I'm getting him.  I'm already giving him a birthday present.

My boy cousin that's 7:

An xbox one game since he's apparently getting one for Christmas

 

I partnered with my mom on them and she's getting them iTunes gift cards since they both have all Apple products.

 

I'm still unsure on my parents and brother. Especially since my brother's birthday is the end of January and I need to get him something then, too.

I truly hate the holidays. I hate having to spend money on gifts for people who probably won't even like or appreciate them -_-

But I switched my boyfriend's gift. We got into a huge fight and he destroyed the xbox so guess who's getting an xbox one -__________________-
