So I've had this mytouch 4g for awhile now, I think 4 years.

I feel I should upgrade my phone so I'm looking for suggestions.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a latest and greatest new model or even in line with what I have now. Honestly not too interested in IPhones if that helps narrow it down.

I've had my galaxy s3 for 1.5 yrs and it's starting to get really slow. Probably need to free some space up on it.

I really like my Nexus 5.  So, maybe a Nexus 6?  Best thing you can do is go to a store and play with a few.

Coming from that mytouch, I assume you're not going to be upgrading for another few years? If so just get any latest flagship phone with android on it and you're set until 2018

@Hopeless Hardware wise I've had no problems with it at all. The battery lasts for a long ass time and it charges extremely quickly too.

 

The only real gripe I have with it is there's no easy way to edit/access your Contacts unless you sync it with Facebook or G account or whatever which I didn't.

Yeah, I ended up putting all my contacts into my Google account after accidentally deleting all of them from my phone one too many times.

iv got a IPhone 5s and love it.  Had nothing but samsung for years but love my iphone.

 

The wife has a IPhone 6s and iv used it but IMO the 5 size is more suited to my needs and the battery life is a lot more better.

I have Samsung Galaxy s3 Mini and I'm very pleased with it. However, for my next phone I hope to get a OnePlusOne. It's rather unknown so far, but I've heard they're awesome.

I have had a Samsung Galaxy S4 for the best part of a year now, and absolutely love it. Its the best phone I have owned.

 

Samsungs have always shown to be better in terms of quality. I previously had some cheap crappy ZTE phone and it was utter shite.

I had iPhones, switched to a Moto X with Android, and absolutely hated it. I returned to the iPhone and never looked back
