I think Strategist mentioned having gotten the Xbox version recently, and that's also what DawnKnight (or whatever he's switched his name to...I forget LOL!) originally played on; you all could give interesting perspectives all playing on both.
Aye. I have all versions except Xbone & PS4 now.
Started on 360 (only next gen system I had at the time and think it was first to get the console version), enjoyed it so much that when I bought PS3 & it became my main console purchased it again.
Bought the pocket edition while standing in line for a Nightwish/Kamelot concert. Worth every cent, and standing in lines doesn't suck nearly as badly now.
Then the PC version when I became active on Codex again.
Personally I could never go back to the console versions other than for any new achievements/trophies or to personally experience the boss battles on my own.
It's just as @Swarley states: too limited.
I'd always hit the invisible wall(s) relatively quickly after starting a game. Way too confining.
Also missing a ton of recipes n stuff. At this point it'd be like trying to make a time machine out of caveman tools.
Though I do miss the console's crafting system a smidge. Faster, and keeps me immersed in game.
Would probably go back if the Codex community ever migrated though for whatever reason.
Wh00t! Better get my special armour set up.
