Hi there, I'm jorrakay!

I don't actually play Neo, but my GF does... And she loves this forum, so I thought I'd join! I hope that's okay!

 

You want some facts?

 

1. Pic related!

 

2. I am a programmer by trade, I work for a company that makes industrial catalog websites (super boring), but I also like programming as a hobby, making games specifically. Of course I also play them. Some favorite games of mine: Avara, Xenogears, Escape Velocity, Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Ares, the Orange Box games, Build and Shoot

 

3. Jorrakay means 'crocodile' in Thai (I like crocodiles and alligators)

 

4. I love food and cooking, I'm not the best chef, but I have at least 2 or 3 dishes I can cook pretty consistently

 

5. I also really like nearly all kinds of music. It's impossible for me to limit myself to one genre. I like to mess around with electronic dance music production, and I grew up playing the trombone.

 

Er, so that's five! That was kind of hard!

I wish! To be honest none of it is any good. I'm really bad at finishing things

Oh, no particular reason, most of the time 'croc' is taken. Fond of the sound of it, at least the way I say it in my head, not sure how it's actually pronounced. I'm also rather partial to Sobek but it feels a little conceited to do the whole name of a god thing (that's just me)

I've lived in Kansas City all my life  Royals all the way, that's what speed do, etc., I'm not that into sports. BUT Baseball is every red-blooded US citizen's patriotic duty, and there wasn't a single person in the whole metro area that wasn't excited about the World Series last year. I didn't even have to work on home game days

English is the worst language of all at conveying pronunciation but I'll try. Juh sound like the J in Jiffy, ore sound like the ore in yore, uh sound like the u in cup, and kay sound like the que in risque
Wasn't that a blast?

I could have tried looking up some IPAs but this is more fun.

a different 'romanization' of the same Thai word: "Chorakhe"

I don't know Thai, but I'm pretty sure I have the wrong sound for the 'a'.

Ah okay, didn't know if you looked it up or not. But it still probably sounds cool either way.
