In order to avoid having to make several different topics (which would seem spammy probably) I've decided to just make a general topic for favorite things within Flight Rising. Dragons, apparel, familiars and so on.

 

My favorite breeds are Imperials, Coatls, Nocturnes, Guardians and Skydancers. I'm rather picky about the genders too though. With Imps, I find the females the most beautiful. Same with Nocs, Guardians and Skydancers. With Coatls, I like the males more.

 

Favorite genes are definitely Iridescent, Crystal, Shimmer, Facet, Circuit, Smoke. I especially have a weakness for Ivory terts.

 

Apparel, definitely the steampunk stuff : ) and that jewelery. I don't own a lot of that already, but it's just so elegant. Love that. I think I'll like silks too. Unfortunately I haven't managed to buy those yet.

 

With the familiars, I am completely in love with the sprites and bears. I have all the bears so far and three sprites; Light, Water and Nature. And currently have a payment plan for the Plague and Shadow sprites ^w^ And bears, well, I love bears. They're one of my favorite animals. I'm really looking forward to see the Shadow festival bear : D

 

That said, I am definitely a familiar collector. So far, I have 111 in total. One of my favorite things in FR is collecting them. After I get all the sprites, I'll be saving up for the gem marketplace ones. And retired ones, if they're in the auction house. I'll need a lot of patience to get all that treasure together ^^' but I'm determined!

My favorite breed is imperial. For the other breeds I'm kind of weird about their pose. I love SD males, but the females really bug me. I throw pelts over their heads while they're in my lair. I also love female snappers and male ridgebacks. I forget that pearlcatchers and spirals exist sometimes. 

 

I also like to collect familiars. My favorites are definitely sprites and floracats. I hoard mermaids too. My bestiary is currently at 225.

 

Skins Accents would be my 3rd favorite thing. I've been collecting alot of imperial skins accents and am on several pinglists waiting for more.

I'm a sucker for spines as a tertiary... even when the color is weird, spines can usually make it work!

@ortin daaamn, that's a shitload of food! XD I have 5 pages right now from coli-grinding the past days, but by the end of the week, I'm going to auto-sell most of it. The Swipp food items will go in the vault. And I'll probably have to keep some meat and seafood aside to convert. Meat and seafood points disappear at an extremely rapid pace in my lair XD

 

@0ryx I'm the other way around with SD's lol Somehow the male pose bothers me, I don't know why. Doesn't stop me from keeping my two males in my lair though. I'm not too fond of Ridgebacks, not sure why either. Just personal preference I guess, but I do have a female that will look really pretty when gened up the way I like : D Snappers are adorable. I prefer the females too. They have such a kind approachable look to them. The males look kind too but also sort of goofy haha. Which is cute too of course. When I stare at their heads for too long, I find myself giggling. Spirals are rather meh for me too although I do have three of them. Pearlcatchers are okay. Again a preference for the female pose there.

 

The floracats will definitely be one of those types of familiars I will be focusing on after the sprites : D Also that platypus familiar (flatbill something) in the gem market place, and those pukasloths *w* and sköll and hati and... well, just about everything hehe. I already have the foxrats. As soon as I read that they would be disappearing - and in my timezone rollover is at 9 am, so I was really lucky to read the update immediately once it was posted - I searched the AH for the two cheapest and bought them. 225 O.O you must be a member for very long already then!

 

Accents are expensive TAT but yeah, I like them too. So thank God for those festivals! Other than festival accents, I only have one accent I bought for my female Ridge. Lightrunes I think it's called. Skins... I don't like that they completely cover a dragon, but that doesn't stop me from getting as many festival skins as I can, because their designs are sometimes so beautiful. That Noc skin Icy Impression from the Crystaline Gale, loved it.

 

@Hopeless True, I have a Tundra male with red-ish primary and secondary colors and then the tert is blue spines. It's not so bad : )

I love spirals and snappers, they are my favourite breeds. Maybe I'm quite weird but yeah . 

Most of my dragons are greenish and blueish, and generally dark. But I also adore pastel coatls, they are soo gorgeous and colourful. 

Oh and I collect familiars, and actually attach them to my dragons, that's it. 

 

As for food, I always convert mine cause somehow it's never enough.

I love collecting familiars. I've got 220+, and I've gotten all of the retired ones except for the Kickstarter ones and the light sprite which I can't be arsed to save up for. I love Spirals and Skydancers though, I think I've got about 20 of each xD. They're all quite dark, but they go well with the eyes.

I'm really into Faes, Spirals, Snappers, Imperials, and Nocturnes.  As for other breeds, I'm more into a specific gender of a breed, like Female Pearlcatchers, Male Mirrors, Female Wildclaws and such.

 

I'm also into collecting dragons that look like tigers and snow leopards and breeding them.  I also like to collect and breed dragons that look like Lighting dragons (Since that is my primary flight)

 

I'm also into collecting familiars, but I currently have too many for my clan to handle when it comes to bonding. XD

When I hatched him, I was like sjdskdkld. I knew immediately he was a keeper.

 

Colors really don't matter with me as long as the primary, sec and terts match nicely, then I'm happy ^^ Or when breeding them with another dragon gives beautiful results. I have a few coatl females that are such eyebleeders, but paired with one of my males, they give such great results *o*

 

@Bee whoaaaa nice! One day I'll get up to that number too : D I'm now trying to get a Yeti and Mantarune and/or Wavesweeper in the coli. But God, how many times do you have to defeat those things before one actually drops ;  ; Okay, I haven't managed to fight the Mantarune and his plague counterpart often so far. Say 10 times perhaps. But that Yeti, I must have encountered him at least 40 times already and nothing *pouts* With the festival coming and that Plague sprite I need to pay for soon I think I'd sell my first one in the AH though. They go for quite a lot and since it's not something that's impossible to get (although frustrating : p ) I could afford to do that. But I'll have to find one first of course lol

 

I was lucky enough to get the Light sprite from a real life friend of mine. Otherwise I probably would never be able to have that one either. That price on the AH is INSANE.

 

@Scrafty I know what you mean. I'm very gender specific too. Like with the Pearlcatcher. The male pose seems off to me as well. Whereas the female has such a beautiful pose that really gives an excellent picture of just how important that pearl is to them. Since it represents their soul.

 

That just made me think; how awesome would it be to have a tiger or snow leopard familiar : D Okay, we have the warcats and floracats as felines, but they're not quite the same.

That's dedication. I've only got 15 attached and I remember to bond like once a week if even that xD. I'll never bond with all my familiars until a program does it for me.

Dang, that is some serious dedication. I rarely ever bond... -__- unless I'm super duper bored.

 

I absolutely love love love familiars though, I have so many in my hoard/vault, its ridiculous. Every so often, I'll splurge on a retired sprite or w/e. Besides that, I love most breeds, except Tundras. I like really contrasting primary to terts. I have way too many dragons in the red/orange family.

Circuit is probably my favorite tert, then smoke. I don't have any with spines. I should probably get one or two, just to have them.

Yes! I LOVE spines. I pretty much stick to iri/shimmer primary and secondary.

Haha, dedication. Merely for the treasure. I do anything to get treasure. And it gives so much satisfaction to get one of those gilded decorative chests. Had one today and it had a coli familiar I didn't have yet  ;  ; one of those centaur creatures. And also a piece of gold filigree armor! Not to mention 16 gems. I love those chests <3 I think I'll have another one of those tomorrow.

 

The one thing about it that really sucks though is that you won't get anything other than 50 treasure from those awakened familiars. That's really no fun. Sooo, not sure if I'll still bond every day when they've all reached awakened.

 

@0ryx D: I've been a member one month longer, I think. I started right before Riot of Rot. You must be really good at saving up treasure! The first few weeks, I made the mistake of buying too many dragons at the AH lol.

Overall my favorite breeds are Skydancers and Coatls. They're currently the only breed in which I like both sexes equally. The others? Either favor the male or the female. Only breeds I... loath entirely are Guardian, Tundra, and Mirror. Used to despise Ridegebacks, but the males are growing on me with the right colour scheme (blacks, greys, dark purples & greens mostly).

 

Favorite food is the Micro Goats.   Frikkin adorable. Probably have quite a few pages of those in my vault.

Other than that it's mostly blue stuff. Foods, clothes, amour, pets, etc. If it's blue I'm probably going to warm up to it quite quickly.

 

Yes, even you Lavaborne Hoax.

Even if I hate the entire concept that birthed your existence.

This pretty much sums up exactly where I'm at with ridgebacks too.

 

I really like bees and honeycomb fragments. I never want for food so I just collect if it's pretty.
