I had a mock audition today with the trumpet TA who is helping me prepare for my audition. It went terribly, but she told me I did well anyways. I know now what I need to work on though, and I'm also slightly more used to the sort of environment which is good

Sort of something from yesterday (I forgot ), but I had my second mock audition and the solo piece went much better this time! I need to work on a steady tempo and get my scales down, but I've got a week left before my audition and I am going to make it count!

Windows 10 is finally available for my laptop! I'm gonna miss Windows 8, not gonna lie. I was super skeptic about it, but it's not that bad. But, Windows 10 is much better

I don't normally weigh myself, but today I was feeling good when I woke up, and I'm down 60lbs on my weight loss! I'm going to have to go shopping again soon xD Not looking forward to the Holidays and food, but now I'm closer to my goal than ever! Such a great feeling especially on a Monday which will probably suck.

I had a solo today in jazz band (which like, never happens) and one of the guys told me I did a good job This is especially meaningful because they are all 60+ and have been playing for 50 years lol

I went to bed at 1 am Woke up 4 times during the night/morning, but it's still a big accomplishment!
