I started seeing a counselor.
Unfortunately, the appointments are every other week for the first month (she's busy/booked)
Do you need to talk @Kass?

Found some comics worth some $$$ in the back of my closet.
Weather was quite lovely today as well.
Hell, honestly have had a 90% great week and it doesn't feel like it's stopping any time soon.
Now there's only three things missing from my life that'll make it absolutely perfect.
A job and something something something...
Honestly? Two of those three things and I'd never truly want anything else ever again.
But we'll get there.

Closed on my house last Thursday. I spent all weekend moving and getting things organized which sucked, but I am happy with the purchase. Needless to say, I have a lot to keep me busy the next couple of weeks.
I need to get some grass growing!

I guess I could have included this earlier, but in addition to the home purchase, I also submitted applications to three graduate programs. I guess this is only truly considered a "good thing" in the event I get accepted to any of them, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I calculated my stipend for next year and it's enough to pay 2/3rds of my student loans.
My husband reenlisted for another 5 years, so yay financial security and cheap health insurance for another 5 years, plus his field is critically manned so we're getting a hooooooooooge payday within the next 40 days. Yay money.
I can register for classes tomorrow.
I'll be graduating next spring if I can get into all my classes, ace my DSST statistics exam and complete my language credits at a community college this summer.
Husband got the 21st off for my next consult with a new neurosurgeon for my second brain surgery.
Life feels up right now. I feel stressed, tired and sick, but like it's good. No more crushing financial related-anxiety. I'm really good.

No doubt. I've been to Lowes more in the last week than I have in the last 5 years.

A popular artist came back from a 1 year hiatus, and everyone thought she was gone for good. But anyways came back, and I wanted a reprint of a item she created (But apparently to the her own personal rules, she said she isn't allowed to print it again). Though she then offered me to have a custom remake of the item, and I quickly accepted her offer! :3c

I can only imagine how much he's getting if they offered me $45k to reenlist lol... Wow. @Coops
Pretty sure about the sameish @Adam. It would have been more if he could have signed another 6 year but they wouldn't let him. And now I guess bonuses are disbursed as lump sums versus half and then the other half paid annually over the contract term. So, we're looking at like that amount in the next 40 days, minus whatever is taxed, which we'll get half back in tax-return next year. Probably like $36-38k. I don't remember. But holy fuck.

So i take down a looot of notes on my phone, everyone that knows me knows my note game is on point, with stuff to remember, jokes, a lot of songs, deep thoughts, drunken thoughts, drunken drawings, ideas...etc. I was going through them today and found one of the greatest ideas ever. It came about one day down the pub whilst sat with friends, the girlies were complaining about how they'll go to the hairdressers and the hairdresser will always cut it too short, or they'll go for a new style only to find out afterwards that it doesn't really suit them or they don't like it right. Then bam. A little lightbulb comes above my head.
So basically you know the app MSQRD? Great fun yeah? If not it's an app that recognizes your face, and adds a layer to it to make it look like your batman, a gorilla or something, but it tracks the movement so if you turn your head to the left the batman mask or whatever you chose also turns and adjusts with your head.
Okay now imagine you go to the hairdressers, you're feeling like you want to change your hairstyle but you're not sure what will work for you, or you don't know what you want to change to. You go in, you sit down, and the hairdresser hands you an ipad with this funky new app. Basically it works just like MSQRD except for hair, you swipe to choose different styles and the app shows what it'll look like on you in real time, you can move your head to see what it looks like on you from the sides and it adjusts. You've got options to change the hair colour, a slider to change the length so no more complaining about the hairdresser cutting it too short, etc. You can even use it to see what highlights would look like in your hair, adjust the length of the highlights and such, tons of options! It would work perfectly for both girls and guys.
Fucking brilliant idea right? No more wondering if you should take the plunge and get something new without "trying it on" first, no more complaining about how they always cut it too short, and you could even just buy the app at home to try shit out, find something you like, mess with the different settings/options, save it then you can load it up when you're at the hairdressers with all the settings/options already sorted to how you want it. Or it could give you a unique code so you can just enter the code into the ipad at the hairdressers then bam ![]()

When I read "six pack" the first thing that came into my head was:
The SNL Undercover Boss Skit with Matt the Radar Technician
"He said that Kylo Ren had an 8 pack. That Kylo Ren was shredded"
Good luck with your weight loss! I need to start getting in shape too.

I registered for my fall classes. Applying to a community college to get my stupid language credits done this summer since my previous uni in AK didn't require that for a science degree. And it hits me, I'm finally doing it guys, I'm finally reaching the last year of my goddamn degree. When I was in high school, they said most people take five or six years to do a four year degree, usually cuz they switch majors or can't decide what they want. I was like, that won't be me! I won't be that way!
I was that way. Lmao.
Not because I couldn't decide what I wanted. But because as a freshmen, I did chemotherapy, and then I moved from Texas to Alaska. And then I moved from Alaska to Virginia, mix in my brother's death and financial struggles, and the brain surgery... my four year degree plan turned into five. And I almost didn't get to finish. In January, it was looking like I'd not have the finances to finish my degree. And I almost gave up. Thankfully, some good people here *cough* @Romy and @Kelvin *cough* really helped me and were awesome friends, even though I'm just some silly lady online.
I'm doing it guys. Aaaahhh. Feels scary and great.
