Buy stocks at 15, and 1,000 at a time, and do this every day with different stocks, and leave them alone until they're worth much more than what you paid.

Before I started cheating, I didn't do anything except stocks.

I have about 385,000 shares that I paid around 5.8 million NP for, but my portfolio is only worth about 5.5 million so currently I am down 5% but over the long term I have made tens of millions. I follow the same rule that is already posted. I buy 1000 stocks a day at 15-17 NP and I do not sell until they hit 60 or higher.

It really is hit or miss. Sometimes I'll go months without selling stocks -- I typically sell at ~45-50 because I am impatient and have seen them tank before they hit 60 and it's frustrating.

For how long have you been buying stocks already? You just need a lot of patience.

This is pretty much exactly what I do. I went on a 2 year hiatus, and when I came back most of my stock were down by 80%, I'll probably never sell those because I paid tons and tons for them before I left, but the past month I've been back, I buy cheap, and leave them alone. I sell between 45-65 and almost always come out on top.

Personally I swear up and down by THCZ stock.

Get on this gravy train while you can, and you should see shares at $100 each within a year or so.

Certainly going to give Monster, Red Bull, etc. a run for their money.

    Oh... wait... Neo stocks.

Buy 1000 each day for 15 NP each.

    Variety as often as possible.

Never sell below 30 NP per share.

    Patience.

    Profit.

    tl;dr:

Just buy 1000 a day and don't sell unless you see a rise in the price.

Yeah, stocks are for long-term profit. If you're looking to make money more quickly, play Ghoul Catchers for your 50k/day or restock/resell or do Food Club.

You can't buy a stock thinking you will see your money back soon. Let it rot there. I bought  HELT stocks (i have more than 150k now) for years and they are still there. I have more than 20mil in stocks and srsly, It's a good investment, but can't be your only one.

Go play food club, usually you will win if you follow good predictions... until you are able to make your own :)

Do the companies go bankrupt? I think I read it in some guide long ago, not sure if it's correct or I'm remembering something else.

I don't know if they go bankrupt but this is one of my stocks from before my hiatus, and it's so low it'll probably never recover.

Yeah, that's quite bad. I only had stocks at VPTS which I sold for a lot of profit, but I could have held it for more profit. Playin' it safe. I think I'm going to give the stock market another try.

They have in the past, but I haven't seen it in a very long time.

Used to own NEGG stock on a now frozen account.

I've never seen a company go bankrupt in years, but this is still a possibility, I think.

You can check this site, it's pretty good to start with, because you can have an idea about each company: http://www.neodaq.info/

Yeah. I've played it for a while. Just buy at 15 sell whenever. I bought a ton at 15 a few years back and left neopets for a while and came back with most of them being over 60.

I wish that's how mine were lolol they're so low right now that I couldn't ever sell them. BUT because I saw this thread today, it has reminded me to go buy another 1,000 stocks today.

Stocks certainly take patience to make good returns. Despite that, 13 days after I first started one stock rose to 54 which I sold it (needed the money even though it was only a profit of about 20k).
Buy 1000 at 15 everyday. Wait until it hits 30 (if you really need money) or 60 to sell. If you aren't making 15k a day at least then I wouldn't bother (you can always AB and SS to make it up to that amount easily).

Took a break and only recently came back to find 3 different companies at 37, 56, 48 and then made quite a lot off that. Unfortunately I have the same problem as danibanani where most of my stocks are negatives now and quite a lot of my stocks are at -60% :/

If you want quicker profits, I recommend the Food Club (search for someone's bets to make sure you don't lose), though if your account is new you won't make loads. 2 and a half year account makes 60k a day off that roughly. Benefit is that it doesn't cost too much per day if you are new.

I sold 15k shares of FISH yesterday at 65 per share. I hadn't checked my stocks in a few weeks other than just buying 1000 and moving on, so I am glad I caught FISH at a good time.

Check neodaq for which shares are better. Don't buy CYBU. Ever.
