Check neodaq for which shares are better. Don't buy CYBU. Ever.

They're random, it doesn't matter what you buy,

Buy @ 15, sell at a higher share price.

Todah, you've made money.

Wait to 30 or 60 at least to sell, and you'll make more money.

Some shares are known to hit 30, 60, 75 and even 100 spikes more often than others so it does matter. They'll all eventually gve profit, true, but you don't want to wait 5 years for a spike of 60.

In that case then this site should help a ton:

    http://www.neodaq.info/

(was honestly a bit surprised it's still active after all these years)

But there is still no way to predict or anticipate a spike. Others spike unexpectedly and for far more than 100 over the course of a week. No stock is "bad".

The whole point of that game is patience.

Of course you can't predict a spike, but do you really want to buy from a bad company praying that it might eventually pay off in a few years when there are others available that are known to spike much more often? It's about patience, true, but if you can vastly reduce the time it takes to see a profit by buying from better companies, why wouldn't you?

If "bad" stocks were the only ones selling at 15/share, I would still buy them. They'll go up eventually, and it's better than missing a day.

Share prices change every hour so you're not forced to miss a day if you don't see a good company at 15. If I see TSRC at 14 and DROO at 15, I'm waiting for the next update.

Assuming JumpStart doesn't mess up the coding for the stock market, really can't go wrong with any stock as long as liquidity isn't a major priority.

If only real life was like neostocks. :p

As long as you but them at around 14 or 15 and are patient it's easy profit... a bit time consuming but worth it

Stockmarket is random as others have pointed out before. I'm not sure whether some are rigged to go higher/fluctuate faster than others though; neodaq.info has ratings for different stocks based on how often they go past a certain threshold, but I'm not sure whether that's accurate or indicative of future changes.

Basically if you have neopoints sitting in the bank, it's always better to put it in the stockmarket instead; the only downside is that you wont always be able to 'withdraw' it at will to buy something. Stocks almost never go bankrupt. You just check back occassionally and sell if it's at 60, or 75 etc. The 1000 stocks a day should be a limiting factor in how much you can make.

You need to invest 15k daily.

Also, there is no need to sell them. You aren't going to see a return in just a few hours. You have to invest the NP and let it sit there for months/years before it will ever return a profit. However, when it does, it is typically a substantial one.

Just gotta be patient, the key is it will work eventually.  I've been investing in 15 stocks daily over the past year and it's a matter of time until they jump, and I plan to only sell when they hit 300%, which will be a long time obviously but the stock market is not meant to be an instant money maker.

Even though I know it works, there's nothing like checking your portfolio and seeing it at -14%

It's already been mentioned but patience really is key with the stock market. You can't buy something and then a day later expect to be rich. I have stocks sitting that I bought 2 years ago, and still not ready to sell them. Buy stocks everyday, buy the 1,000 everyday. And leave them alone! Literally do nothing with them until they're 60+, or if you've got hardly any patience, sell at 40+. It's not a miracle get rich quick scheme.

Stocks can take years to hit 60. I've never actually had the patience to wait until then, I usually sell around 30.

It definitely helps to have a large portfolio. If you only have 10k shares total, you'll pretty much sell like once a year.

Stocks are a waiting game. If you buy a stock at 15 eventually it will go up, so you just have to be patient.

Some guides advise you to sell at 30 but I always sell at 20 because I hate waiting. Still takes a while but you can earn big if you invest a lot.

As mentioned by the other posters, the stock market does involve a lot of waiting. Since this is Neopets, though, it also involves a lot of luck & chance. If you're looking to shorten your waiting time to earn profit, I would recommend using your money on restocking or reselling instead or perhaps the food club.  :innocent:

I like to also buy stocks with the highest volume, i.e. if there were two 15np stocks, I'd buy the one that other people are buying too. Not sure if that helps but maybe lol

Yes guess it's like the real stock market - you get it or you lose it.

Anyway choosing those 15 shares are normally safe and even if it drops it doesn't hurt
