Yeah , was wondering bc I bought a common uc grey not so long ago, but by lurking the PC I saw people getting always suspicious, even on "average Ucs". I saw someone saying to another "If you have any doubt, just report and tnt will do their job, and if this is illegit, the user will get frozen.

Do we have to understand like, every unusual uc's they see, they're going to report and tnt would obviously see the uc come from nowhere/inactive account...

I start to wonder if even next year if I decide to go on the pc, if they report, tnt has track and proof that the uc just came to my acc from a long time ago account, so we're fucked anyway right? since those dumbass report just every uc they see...

Obvisouly I'm not the guy who will show their pet to anyone and post on the boards about it as a trophy pet, BUT i don't wanna feel like if I post on any boards, trades, buy on shops, like someone is going to report even years after...

I guess when buying a uc you have to keep a really low low profile and not show you anywhere....

I want an UC but it's not worth the trouble. Even legit obtained ones come under scrutiny because these people have nothing better to do than report every one they don't recognize.

I had some legit ucs before 2012, mid to low tier ones, people didn't care as much.

 

Seems like with ucs becoming rarer, people get more suspicious.

While the PC is absolutely batshit crazy, I've bought and sold numerous UC and never been caught.

Is this a problem on old accounts too? They can't seriously see an old account with a UC and think it's suspicious. And how can they be suspicious anyway? Neo grants extra accounts and a pet transfer function so we can store "finished" pets. -.-

They scrutinize over pretty much everything. Account age, where you got the pet from, if you traded down for it. They look up the cached page to see where it came from, etc.

The funny thing is that I'm sure there are some illegit pets on there, but there are also legit ones that people post about simply because they don't recognize them.

Where does Dimixe the UC RG bunny come from? It's the first time i see her, and it's weird how many 6-and-less letters UCs have popped out in the last time :v

 

If you buy any UCs, I highly recommend not trading it for months.  I've purchased UCs before because I really love them and have had no issues because I am not interested in re-trading them.  

 

People on the PC don't know how to mind their own business.

I lurked on that tumblr and checked most of the pets/ users and they are a majority that are frozen..i don(t know how they keep track like that of the accounts the pet was on, or the pet itself how can they know thus pet existed anyway...

and the goal is to buy a permie, and keep it, but always afraid to buy in shops or trade , even when i get random lottery ticket i hate that and get a lot lately..

they report ucs they don't know and i saw a post on the tumblr saying that a high end and Well and short named uc is ALWAYS suspicious...imma keep checking it

I would recommend making your account look legit. Put a fancy layout, add some bio, customize your pets. Make yourself seem friendly and say you finally got your dreamie UC from trading and all that. If anybody asks about it, make up some BS and keep to that BS. Don't leave your account empty. That'll make it seem illegit.

Here's the thing, they're people who don't have lives.  I'm not even just saying that to talk shit.

 

These people regularly stalk inactive accounts and then post when they're suddenly active again.  Even if I wasn't working full-time and in a relationship, I still wouldn't have the motivation to stalk virtual pets all day.

 

They think people are hacking old accounts and/or stealing them from people (which some pets actually ARE stolen, yes, but not all of them.  Everyone is guilty until proven innocent).

that's totally what i'm aiming for, but tbh i think even on the greatest account, having too much/great uc with good name is enough for them to report..so sad

yeah it seems so...tnt hasn't done their job correclty, instead of freezing because douchebags reported they should have made their opinion, they have all in hand to do so..

and also can a seller report? I bought the pet I have from someone but I feel that they are capable to send tnt a mail saying I bought it. they have nothing to loose, they got my money and an empty account, and probably other acc i don't know

That's why you should only buy a pet from a reputable seller and someone you could trust.  I doubt they will report you for no reason though, they have your money.

 

canadianchixxor was confirmed to be a member on another cheating website and was frozen at one point but Tony unfroze her.  She's the last person who deserves to be unfrozen.

If it's a UC that is "known" to the boards and has been traded around a few times you'll escape their notice and/or stand up to scrutiny if reported; you also need to have a suitably aged/developed account. DN/BN UCs are also less likely to be scrutinized-- people will look up RW UCs deliberately and so even if you don't post on PC you can get noticed.

 

There are other cheat sites where they allow unsavory stuff like actually stealing UCs off old accounts and so they have much more elaborate practices for making their pets "PC safe".

What I don't understand is the "pet applications" for adopting pets. I mean, these things are freaking pixels. They're not actual animals you need to feed/take care of. I'm not going to write a 500+ word count app for pixels. That's a waste of time and space.

Thats exactly why I never bother to apply for any pets. These people have like huge elaborate apps with custom coding, a full novel, a gallery of art and my apps is like:

"I want it because its cool. It'll stay on my main. I might dress it. That's all."

well i guess you must be the only one not asking for tons of rules, the dumbiest one is to put a word in your app saying you read them LOL

i've applied for a pet it was way back in time, they said they didn't care about blankpage or layout, but of course they choose someone who made a very nice app with art, and all that shit...how do you do when you don't know how to draw at all??? not fair!! and that doesn't say they would be better owners anyway I was frozen soon after what a waste

I had no idea there was such a stigma to owning a UC...I want to buy one eventually just because I have money and a job and I rather spend all the time practicing useful skills at my job than spending a year or more trying to trade up to some pixel that in a few hours, I could afford.
