Shocking, right?! :p

You'd have to agree to wear it everyday for a year.

I've always wanted to take a trip to Italy, or Spain. I've never had the capital to do so, but I have a credit card  :ninja: ...

Generally a good way of building up a credit ratings and gaining air miles as long as you have the means to pay it off.

Personally I find Spain boring as hell but Italy is definitely a place to go.

If you took a trip to Italy, and had a week to do so, where would you stay? @ Frizzle I've never even considered getting a credit card that awards sky miles -- I only have one that gives an infinite 1.5% cash back on whatever I buy.

Basically everything. I'm really bad about buying shit I like or need. I only buy new clothing like once a year, if that. And usually my husband has to drag me out to do it. If I could, I would love to actually have a wedding ceremony and reception, since I never got one of those.

Have you talked to your husband about having a ceremony/reception?

Yeah. We were going to have one with the financial support from my mom, using money from my late brother's SGLI. But when I disowned my dad that went out the door real fucking fast. We're too poor to do anything proper with me unable to work at the moment. My husband really, really wants to give me a beautiful wedding and reception with our friends. But I don't talk to it much about it anymore to him because after it went out the door, I felt incredibly let down (by my mom) and depressed about it all. Like I had started planning it, bought a discounted wedding dress (which is in a box in my closet), and shit.. but then yeah.. I disowned my dad for being an abusive piece of shit. So now, my mom won't help, even though she promised 5 grand to me, to help pay for it and stuff. I don't want to get my hopes up about it and it never happen. I've been married for four years as of December 19th this year, so I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Edit: And I feel so stupid and guilty over wanting a beautiful wedding ceremony, when being married is so much more than that. But I've never really done much for myself, ever. My parents have never done anything special for me ever. And I just want to feel like a fucking princess for once.

I'm really sorry to hear that =[. Every girl deserves to be treated like a princess for at least one day.

No idea, I've never been. I'd probably look at Rome since its history is so exhaustive you'd never be bored, but Sicily/South have vineyards, beautiful scenery and lovely weather. Italy is hella expensive though.

Ask people who've been and they might give you an idea. Depends on what you want from your trip.

My cousin was stationed in Naples for a few years. Lived a few streets over from the Mediterranean Sea.

Yeah, if I travel, I need to get a credit card that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees.

I'm trying this new thing of not being so mean to people both on forums, and in my every day life, but do you HAVE to post a silly picture with every one of your posts?

I know quite a few people that have been stationed in Aviano and they were absolutely in love with the area. I'm super jealous of them =/
