I can't justify spending money on this, even though it is like $2. I don't know why I thought of this all of the sudden...

I really should not get on these threads when I'm hungry.

But sushi does sound really good.

Though I never can justify the high price for such a small amount of food

I always forget that most people don't have all-you-can-eat sushi where they live. That is the only way to do it. I could never justify buying sushi a la carte. I would probably spend $100+ eating sushi if I paid by the roll...

I really like sushi, but it has to be of a certain constancy. Nothing too squishy, and slimy :yuck:. I probably wouldn't eat my monies worth of sushi in an all you can eat style. One roll + hibachi and I'm good.

That is the great thing about where I live. It is legit. Not like buffet style. I have had some sushi when visiting other places, and it isn't as good. If you ever go to Vegas/Reno, you should definitely find the local's favorite and do it for yourself. Lifechanger.

Good thing I'm moving out that way in a few weeks :D. Vegas is only going to be a 4 hour drive away from me. I haven't been there since I was 10, other than driving through. I'm so excited for new, and better cuisine.

Here we have rotation/buffet of Sushi for an salty price xP An Rotation/Buffet worths more than traditional "a la-carte", that's you ask for the waiter from a menu. I love too much Japanese foods and here it's a bit acessible xP Like 20 dolars the rotation/buffet without drinks.

I can't actually think of anything. Dual income, no kids, we've basically always managed to do what we want. Not massive consumers though - most of our money has probably gone on the house and travelling over the years.

I actually think that the way you're living right now is my goal. I used to want kids, but I'd rather not have my: money, freedom, and life sucked out of my marriage. I'd love to dump all of my money into my home, and/or being able to see the world.

As soon as we stop living across 2 different countries, everything should be pretty ideal. :p We don't have too many responsibilities so most our income is disposable and we're both on decent enough salaries now to make London just about comfortable. All a matter of priorities I suppose and we chose the house and holidays over anything else!

I have always (for the last 10 years) wanted a giant house behind my house filled with one of every instrument in the world. This is the coolest waste of money I can think of.

It was delicious and all, plus a great experience but I'd never pay that much for sushi again (oh the joys of living at home with decent salaried job). Here are some pictures:

Have you been to Guu Izakaya? Everyone i know keeps talking about how good that place is but its kinda pricey as the dish size to money ratio is kinda high.
