Old TNT loved NP sinks like the faerieland wheel bullshit and the wishing well. That actually helped the economy.

JS is just straight up giving NP to everybody and effectively destroying the entire economy

 

I would not say the nps is bad

after the lost of habi and key quest, most of the prices drop because most people do not have nps to spend.

that already destroy the economy before the wheel was introduced.

 

at least now there are some activity...though the user base is shrinking.

I am actually losing hope that the economy will recover at all

Weird.. the trudy surprise events are not auto popping out for my sides, been so for 2 days.

Mine is working fine so far. Even on sides.

But it only gives you 19k max and no more for the past few days. That gets on my nerve. Thought it'll increase each day and so far had only one gift box on each account.

No. The max is 21,000 (No matching Icons with Bad Luck Bonus).

Yep..  I double checked. I wonder if it's because of cookies. I will try logging out and logging in again now.

I login to my sides on Chrome. I tried a second side account and the Trudy pop out, but not on the "main" side account that I have been spinning for the past 10+ days. I double and triple checked the preference and it's not disabled. Maybe it's no longer a 12am NST event but a 24hrs countdown event now?

 

I login to my main on FF and have no problem getting the Trudy pop up though.

If you're not worried about it, try to login in with FF? Or even try IE?

I think that there could be a way of getting the economy to recover...

 

The faerieland jobs that are going at the moment... Have them as an item sink, so that all of the crap that has deflated gets put on the hit list, so that less of those item are about and the prices inflate again. Then people get rewarded NPs for the jobs, so as such can spend more NPs buying things they want to.

 

Also, for some reason, the Pile Of Sludge is selling for over 2k NP whereas it used to be a 1NP item?

@spotify95 the Faerie Jobs as an item sink is a pretty neat idea! They could make an avatar for it, for when you do a certain number of jobs to attract people to do it.

And I believe the Pile of Sludge is asked for The Coincidence daily?

I just woke up, start up Chrome and the Trudy event appeared. I didn't even change anything from my last post. I think it's becoming a 24hrs thing for my side somehow. Not sure why. It's the 3rd time it happened this way I believe. I can't spin it at 12am NST but have to spin it few hours before new day instead.

 

The Faerie job idea have been discussed by neo-users for years, even suggested in Editorial. While it's a good idea for avatar and new item list with higher gross pay, TNT seems to don't care about improving this area of Neo. But seriously, when have they improved older aspect of the site suggested by users?

@neopetsexploded honestly I'm more inclined to believe it's that Chrome problem about updating cookies and pages' stuff. It's a known problem (although it was worse a couple of years ago).

It'd certainly be a good idea - instead of asking for items that are worth 1000NP+, the jobs could ask for cheap items that loads of people already have in their SDB's, or daily items... This would then stop the deflation of certain items, or inflate them in terms of price; it would also get more people to take part in jobs knowing that they will get paid a good amount of NPs - this will result in people having more NP to spend (to make up for the likes of Key Quest not working still) and could possibly inflate the prices of job coupons? Though having said that, if the basic jobs (i.e. not requiring a coupon) were item sinks as well, then all would be good.

 

Also, I got the two matching items for the Trudy's daily (on my main, I don't use it on my side) and got 19,000 NP. Seriously I thought TNT were going to increase prizes and offer the chance of 100,000 NP on the 25th day?

@spotify95 I'm convinced TNT change the value of the prizes (or in this case made them stagnant). Maybe they realized it was giving away too much NP or received tickets from people complaining about that and changed it.

Or this was already planned and the 100k can still be something like a final prize for those that did not miss a day. There's still hope.

So, I spun on Friday and got 19k. But I was away camping yesterday and my friend spun Trudy for me but I only got 4k yesterday (with bad luck bonus) and there is literally no chance I missed a day. Now Trudy is completely gone for me even though I have not done it today. I am kind of bummed I won't get the bonus for spinning consecutively.

I'll start posting the results every two or three days when I don't have the time to do it daily because real life things.

I can't wait to get enough Gift Boxes in some of my accounts so I can finally send all NC items to my main+adds and start canecelling some shells. If I can't restrain myself from log in, I have to end the problem by cancelling the accounts. D:
