Just curious because I i tend to stay in a shop for a couple minutes sometimes before switching, sometimes just a minute. I was wondeirng what you all find success in doing, also how many shops do you usually AB in? what are the big profits in besides stamps and morphing potions? and do you AB in all of them at once?

people let it run more than that? in one shop? how is that remotely believable? refreshing every what 5-15 secs? Excuse my reaction that just seems absurd to me...

Only when I'm stupid and have buy times of 1 second. But no, it is very safe. Plenty of players just go focused on a single shop.

wow, how do you guys deal with the restock bans? just let it wait out the fifteen minutes? do you turn off the check?

People do that. Used to, at least. I had a lot of friends that would restock for hours every day, and legit.

8 hours, usually. 15 minutes pause every 2 hours or so, never been frozen for ABing.

Ok well thanks everyone you have been enlightening, here I was freaking out if my Autobuyer was on for more than an hour or so, i guess i will change things up now.

PS Do any of you know how to change the price in the database? I was trying to buy books and robin lupe came up for a profit of 11980, the problem is that the item restocks for a thousand and sells for a thousand, and I can be in books without buying everyone that comes through. or maybe how i can make an exception for an item? without making a list?

Buyable items in the database can not be manually changed. Only items above 99k, and only members with 500+ posts have the ability to change those prices. If you need an unbuyable updated, you can post it here:

    http://www.neocodex....vanced-members/

Buyable items are updated by Abrosia (in the background) and Neon AP.

The prices in the database are not the lowest an item will sell for which is why they may sometimes be a bit off for people. I don't believe there is a way to make an item exception without using a list. You could raise your profit margin above the profit of that book, which would prevent Abrosia from buying it, but would also prevent Abrosia from buying anything under a profit of 11980.

wait so buyables cannot be updated by anyone? or just by typical members? i mean all the people on the database entry are also selling it for significantly lower so it is definitely something that is inaccurate at this point. Also can an item be edited if it was previously buyable, but now is nowhere to be found for that price? or an item that was previously unbuyable but now floods the stores?

One shop, 5 hours or so a day. Started 3 days ago, bought 20+ UB's already. Spent roughly 900k account to the Neo Tracker, however the profit I'm guessing is near 3.3mill - 4mill easy, I know kind of a small profit.

Also buying them at roughly 1.5-2.5 sec, which isnt terrible.

i dont AB or do any cheat because 12years ago when i was 12-13years old i tried to AB and i instantly got my main frozen. so i quit neopets for good until a month  because now im super bored. i joined this forum only to socialize with neopets users lol but all this talk about ABing is making me want to try it. haha

I was just mainly concerned with restock bans, turns out you can go 4-5 hours without one pretty consistently. I have the checker off because it is pretty useless now. So I didn't want to sit in a shop for hours on a restock ban. However it is much less obvious now that you are in fact on one, because shops empty out so often, so perhaps it looks more realistic too.
