This is an acrylic painting on a wooden base. The letters are wooden pieces glued to the painting. It will be the base piece to a guestbook for my wedding. The wedding is a beach wedding, and this is my depiction of what the beach looks like. Wooden hearts with the guests hand written names will be glued and placed on top of the painting. So it is incomplete, and will be completed once the wedding happens. (less than 2 months!)

My chocolate cake is decorated with icing to look like the ocean with cake and cookie crumble to represent the sand of the beach. The flip flops are sugar cookies decorated with pink frosting.

Yeah. I could extend the entrance of contestants for one more week, but I have other contests/competitions to think of too, so once I got the second entry I decided to go ahead. It's still sad though, I thought we would have more participants.

i didnt have time to do my entry, was travelling, and here is winter, so, no imagination to do a summer related thing xD

 

voted for #1, love the usage of acrylics and how its mix very well to get nice gradients

I wish I had been able to come up with something to contribute but I have 0 crafting skills.  Great work to both entrants though!
