Fuck yeah! Time for the Neocodex Costume Contest! I wanna see the immense amount of creativity Neocodex is capable of!

This contest is open to all members! I expect to see your Elsa Costumes! Your Pokemon Trainers! Your Master Chiefs!

Let's go Codex!

Entries are due by: Nov.3rd 12:00AM NST

Voting begins: Nov.3rd  ~10:00AM NST

Voting ends: Nov.10th ~10:00AM NST

Guidelines

Spoiler

1. Entrants should make every effort to produce a costume worn by themselves. It can be hired from a costume shop, homemade, whatever, as long as YOU wear it. The purpose of this competition is to further familiarise our users with each other and to have a bit of fun.

2. You may enter a photo that has been manipulated by Photoshop etc, BUT, the entrant must provide an original photo with it AND they must be wearing said costume. This does not include photoshopping a costume onto yourself, see point 4 below.

3. Entrants must, in some way, identify themselves by showing their username on an easily visible medium. This could be on a piece of paper held up when the photo is taken, written on your body somewhere easily visible etc Totally up to you, be creative. Obviously, we don't want anything illegal done to verify that it's you (for example, tagging your username on a building or any property etc that may get you in trouble).

4. Entrants may choose someone else from Codex to portray. This may be from your personal knowledge of how they look, or what you THINK they look like if you haven't seen them. No defamatory/hurtful/racist costumes allowed. Use the forum Rules as a guide. If you have to ask yourself, "Will this upset said person I am portraying?", then you probably shouldn't enter it. Anyone found to be breaching the forum rules will be DQ'ed and receive an official warning.

5. Staff are ineligible to receive prizes, however, they may enter if they wish

6. If you wish to change your entry at anytime, you may do so, as long as it is before the cut off time for entries.

7. Entrants may NOT vote for themselves.

Does it mean only prizes or we can't get the awards either?

[Strategist]

Sweet, I'm going to a 30th birthday party on Saturday night (Halloween) and it's a costume/dressup party

I'm so entering. Also, @Swarley I think that we're eligible for awards, just not prizes.

[Rocket]

I'll donate 1m FR treasure @Romy

I need to get a costume for Halloween... I hope I can actually find something that isn't super expensive and cheap looking

This sounds like a lot of fun. I won't be dressing up myself, but I am excited to see the entries that come out of this!

[DonValentino]

Oh yeah I definitely didn't have a card that said my name on it or anything. Just figured people know what I look like lol.

[Strategist]

Lol after all the trouble I went to send in a pic, I failed to have my username in the image too -_- oh well. Shit happens.

[Romy]

hm...I'd be willing to make exceptions for people I can personally identify.

Edit: Just to be sure, send in picture of a PART of your costume with you AND your UN in it,

[blue]

Merf, I took a pic with a paper towel with my UN do I get extra credit for actually reading?

You don't get extra credit for doing what's expected of you

You do get +rep though.

[Swar]

I was gonna do the Sesame Street tash can guy aka get inside a tahan with just my eyes showing, but I spent the whole day in bed. No regrets, though.

I can show you my costume without the mask if that helps? But won't be able to until voting begins as I'll be at work.

[Rocket]
