Last year we had a gaming month where members competed in multiplayer games, of all types, against each other. Forum awards were given out, cash prizes(?), FR treasure, and of course neopoints were among the spoils. I know last year we had our gaming month in January, but unfortunately it's probably going to be in February. I'd like for you folks to put ideas out there of what you'd like to play. @Romy always hosts a spectacular Pokemon league battle. Pretty sure @Kord does something with Minecraft, and @Jess hosted a Cards Against Humanity [CAH] tournament . What games do YOU want included in this upcoming gaming month? In the next few days I'll create a voting topic with all of the nominated games as choices. All ideas are welcome as long as the nominated game has a multiplayer aspect. Thank you!

The problem isn't the time zonas, at all, but servers. An people on EU server can't play with a people in NA server. And, if an NA plays in EU, he'll play with a lot lag.

I'm well aware of that. We run into the same issue with people who want to compete in Hearthstone.

@Kord hasn't hosted an official server contest to my knowledge. Your go-to person for that would be @Strategist.

 

I will be hosting a special Pokemon tournament in honor of the 20 anniversary. I just haven't decided whether or not I will be going the extra complicated route or simple (yet).

If Mafia it is what I'm thinking, we had one similar hosted by @cassiopeiic that was pretty awesome. No enemies were made (afaik)

Oooooooh how about dominion? You can play it free online, and can get up to 4 people at a time. Such a fun deck building game.

I'd have suggested Catan Online but they are shutting their serves down at the end of January. And Catan Universe had a less than fortunate start... But I'd like to (tentatively) suggest Catan Online/Universe.
