What I have is a keyed still image so it scrolls up through the screen, but I want it to slow down in places. As far as I've googled It seems its only possible with videos and not still images, I'm just wondering if that is true or false or if theres a work around to get it to work on a still image.

Thanks.

Not 100% but can you add a time stretch to a certain section of the timeline? I think you can possibly hold a section of the timeline and stretch that part only. Try right clicking the image in the composition and playing with the time settings that way. Other than that, I'm not too sure what else you can do.

I've only worked with videos and not stills unfortunately.

Good luck though!!! I LOVE using After Effects :)

You could add movement keys to certain sections and then manually slide them closer or farther away from each other on the timeline, to slow or speed them up?

Where's @IcedEarth when you need them :(

But I am sure you can do similar to what @cassiopeiic mentioned. The version I used years ago had an addon which made some of these things simpler.

@Honchkrow I hope you figure it out, or have done so. If you do need help still please send me a PM and I'll download AE and see if I can help out.

Got it figured out with some tinkering with the speed graph. Thanks for all the help!
