Sadly, yup.
Let me know if you plan to restart or whatever. I'd be happy to give you neopoints and stuff. So sorry you lost your account. ![]()

I'm rebuilding a shell at the moment but my heart isn't really in it. It's just horrible because I can still see the account, they haven't frozen it or moved stuff or hell even converted and traded away my pets.

It was most likely a planned mass-hack and is probably somewhere in a hacking forum somewhere if I had to guess. Something like this normally isn't controlled by a single person. It's a group.

I don't usually go to PC. But I heard most victims (but not all) are from PC. This is different from usual hacks as people get their lookup changed with cracked codings, turning login status into stealthy, lost NP or items etc. But it's not everyone who got hacked having the same issue.
It could be people targeting people who have used the trading post, auction house etc recently.

Maybe just maybe, it's just another one of those Neopets/Jumpstart's glitches.
An employee of them might have gone through a part of neo user database and while he spun the chair as another coworker was calling him from another side of the cubicle didn't realize that the cup of coffee he just made that was placed beside the old and ratchet keyboard was spilled and after diligently drying it off with his pink napkin then started making buzzing noises creating a new mutated virus that alters the currently open database of users. Thus, created this whole mess.

Yeah, I don't think it's a glitch. There's a lot of evident changes that has gone to some of the accounts including changes to their lookups and such. For now I'm going to assume it was a PC target, because this is definitely not the first time they've been targeted. They're most likely only going for active accounts.

It's not pc, I've barely been on the boards with my account and I stayed far away from PC.
My account had it's pass and email changed and the lookup now shows some broken coding.
I don't suppose you happen to have a copy of your old lookup coding and a copy of what's on there now, do you? I'd be interested to see what actually changed on it, might give us a clue as to why.

Nope I don't remember which one I used
I can PM you my account if you still want to take a look.

Could Google cache hold a copy of what your lookup looked like? Maybe that may help?

Hardly. Unless people force the cache now but still kinda useless since TNT blocked the caching on lookups ![]()
