My girlfriend got me into bouldering about a month ago and I did my first V0 route today :)

Anyone else frequent their local rock gym? Or do any outdoors climbing? Share your experiences!

I know a friend who's so totally into this + adventure sports + other physically adventurous stuff, that she actually runs a whole platform of events for this stufff! I think she might even be doing it full-time right now in factt. :o

I went for one of her events last year, and though I actually injured my neck a little (it healed with no complications at all thankfully), I did have much fun hehehhe.

Not personally into rock climbing or bouldering so far though! But, I think I probably should try the former at least, it's been so long since I even did a simple not-very-steep artificial wall.

Thanks @Swarley! I actually just got back from the local bouldering gym by my place, started in August one weekend and have been going regularly ever since. I can send most "reds" which have a V3 - V5 difficulty and started projecting "greens" which are V6 - V9.

Wish I started when I was younger though, some of these kids have no fear and have a way stronger strength / weight ratio.

Does your friend climb at Kinetics (somehow I know of this gym even though I've never been to SG).

Haha not that I know of really! She does different things at different places though, so she might know them or at least know of it I guess, if you know of it as well haha.
