I talk to myself a lot. Not in like a crazy way, at least I hope not, but more of a self commentating way. And I plan conversations out loud a lot.

I call my children by names of different kinds of fruits, vegetables, legumes, animal products and animals. I like to vary it up too, so sometimes i trick myself when i go to call them something different and have run out of ideas. I end up pausing and picking "chicken squish cheese/bean". At that point i ask myself why i cant just use their given name. Some days I wonder why i named than anything to begin with. lol. Perhaps their adult lives will appreciate the birth name... if they even know what it is when they get there

 

My second weird habit is logging into and playing neopets.... seriously, y'all are the only people who know that i still do.

I still remember the day I told my friends that I play neopets. I was so nervous they would judge me and stuff but they didn't even know what the website was and didn't think much of it xD felt ashamed for nothing

I made a group of friends on a gaming community and despite them being around my age, they think it's fun to end every word with z and it was so fking annoying but eventually I ended up getting influenced too and I couldn't stop adding z to every word for months. I still find myself slipping into it occasionally...

hahaha, im sure that i would recieve a similar response, but i share similar fears to the ones you had of them judging. lol. I'm glad it worked out. #neopets4lyfprobably haha. *walk of shame but yay lol*

When my fiance or close friends are talking, if they ever pause for any reason, typically to think about what they're going to say, I will normally finish the sentence with a song lyric. I don't know why I do this, but it amuses me. I also have a good friend that we call "Sheets" so whenever I am talking or singing and the word "me" comes up, I will swap it with Sheets.

 

Such as "what do you want for dinner?" followed by "it doesn't matter to Sheets."

The only thing I can think of that I do is that I have to read fanfiction before going to sleep. It makes me happy.

Same here, I HAVE to read FF before going to bed   To be honest, I could use an intervention

I tend to bite my nails without realizing it, and when I look down, all my nails are messed up and I gotta use a nail clipper to get them straights.

Hahaha I do the same thing! I always find a way to put song lyrics into a normal conversation. (Or what someone said had just reminded me of a song so I just start singing it)

I don't like the number 13 so I always try to casually add something/take away something depending on what it is, so we have 12 or 14 of it, not 13
