You've had an account on here for  almost 4 years and suddenly when you need 40 posts to view a subform and you suddenly start posting, you're going to be super self-aware about yourself

Yea I feel ashamed of my lack of posts in 4 years, but then again, I created a new neopets account and neocodex account in 2012, Played for 2 months and then went for a 3+ year hiatus where I completely forgot about neopets. Got to uni and all the free time made me come back. Been back for 3 months now so technically I played for a total of 5 months. Still a pathetic amount of posts, but not as bad.

Not all, according to what I've read on threads like this so fars. But that's a moot point anyways at this point, the Shop's closed now from what I've heard.

I think that sounds very very reasonable and you shouldn't be ashamed of that. Just, like, don't spam when you post (don't make completely pointless posts, read up and join in the conversation, try to be helpful and contributing with each post etc) and you should have nothing to be ashamed of really, at least from my perspective.

Fair enough, now that I'm playing np again I actually check the forums here pretty often, I read what people have to say but just never really post, though I definitely want to participate in the Altador Cup as a team, so I'm hoping I can get to 40 before the sign up deadline, guess I'll just check back regularly when I'm on the computer to see if I can add anything to conversations. This is also my first Altador Cup and I don't completely understand what it is, so doing it as a team would help me (I mostly played neopets in like 2000-2003 when I was young, rejoined a couple times doing ABing, last time I rejoined I eventually got iced and quit)

Chances of them (TNT) doing anything significant are slim. Our programmers are top notch and can fix/bypass whatever they may have done pretty quickly I would assume.

Just wondering, with those dum dum asking for reCaptcha, IF they make it a thing in AC would it be a thing to us? They sound like reCaptcha for legit score sending is not annoying. lol

How's reCaptcha different from captcha? Is that the picture one?

I'm excited to use the score sender for the cup this year. I'm trying to find my way around it. Can I send scores for multiple games at one time? Do I need to adjust the score I picked every couple of games to make it so I'm not always scoring 12 goals in YYB? Just trying to get the hang of it so I can not get a shell account frozen.

I believe it's just a name for that particular thing, still a captcha. And yes, the picture one when viewing lookups.

Wouldnt captcha or reCaptchas also hurt the experience for non-cheaters?

 

Like I would get annoyed/pissed/whatever if I would have to fill out these captchas as a legit player
