I mostly just do 5x5 deadlifts, squats, benches or whatever I feel like at the gym.

My Fitbit helps me keep track of my diet and exercise.

You know what I find helps? I have a fitbit and it made me very eager to get all my steps in and to actually work out. Especially when I'm part of those competitions between friends you can set up where you see who had the most steps. It makes me want to do more since everyone can see how lazy I am lol

I just played futsal on the evening since we have a court here on my college. A good 1 hour everyday.

Wednesday & Sunday (and sometimes Friday) I go bouldering for a couple hours.

During the summer when it's warm enough to run outside I do hill sprints Monday & Friday. When it gets colder I do HIIT on a spin bike indoors.

Some may argue that I work out too much and that I'm "too thin" but my response to that would be that I found a spot that I enjoy so that it doesn't feel like I'm actually working out and that I'm currently at my heaviest weight ever, it's just that I'm at a low enough body fat percentage that it's not as noticeable.

I would suggest taking a protein supplement, you can go with a well-known and big brand to be safe. Also, look at flavour reviews since that was the most important to me lol. Also try to do cardio to warm up for 10 to 15 mins and then switch to weights/lifting etc for the rest of your workout. Those machines might be the safer bet for a beginner.

I've started taking ON gold standard whey protein. The vanilla ice cream mixed with orange juice is good :) Yeah that's pretty much what I do, I just hate cardio lol.

That protein mix sounds amazing, I'd just worry about what kind of OJ you're using since most will have high sugar content.

Think of rock climbing, but without the rope to catch you.

Your dream body is very possible with body weight exercises. Ever see really buff people in prison?

http://www.artofmanl...isoner-workout/

LOL about a year ago I actually googled "prison workout" after watching the show Wentworth (it's about a women's prison in Australia) because the one girl in it is SO in shape - I get that it's just a tv show but I'm so anxious about working out in front of people at a gym that I decided it would be the only way I would actually work out.

But I ended up getting this app called 'Hot5' and it has a ton of videos of 5 minute workouts (many of which require no equipment) and I just pick and do 5 a day/5 days a week.

I also eat a plant-based (vegan minus the lifestyle) diet 5 days a week.  Cutting out processed foods has really made a huge difference in how healthy I feel and some weeks I find that I don't even need the 2 omnivore days and will end up giving myself only 1 day or even just 1 meal of it.

I'm going to hafta start doing something. Since I broke my ankle pretty bad and arthritis set in hardcore it's been hard to do anything. I'm thinking maybe stair-stepper like exercises to keep my ankle moving.

My advice after being on and off for a decade is to make small changes slowly and develop a daily routine in order to stay consistent. never try to make big changes all at once as its hard to maintain it.

fitness is more like a house of cards and less of a progression. if you are vigilant and consistent eventually you can stack your way to the top. but if you stop and walk away the wind will blow away all your hard work.the first level is easy and requires little dedication, but the higher you go the more focus is required.

personally I say go in and do simple comfortable exercises and do them often. rest days are overrated, and keep workouts short like 45 minutes. and I will say always do cardio not for calories but the heart!!

if you really want routines and diet feel free to pm me. but otherwise. small changes and baby steps are what I stand by

I don't have one right now... but I am hoping to adapt one this semester. I am calling this semester: Operation Winter Vacation Training.

I want to lose some weight before I go on my winter vacation in December.

I plan on using the gym on campus and doing some weights at home.
