It really is hard to say what the absolute worst creation of mankind is. I'll go with something that's intangible -- the idea that a person of: different nationality, race, gender, skin color, and genetics in general, etc is any less of a human than another.

Hugely destructive weapons. Things like nuclear bombs, weaponized viruses, chemical weapons... These things can destroy nations, reduce entire civilizations to rubble, and kill countless innocent people. Humans don't need weapons like that, nothing good can come of it.
