[Faeling]

So...Trying to change the email on my neopets account (have an @live.com from hotmail account)

and I get'

 

Error: Database failure. Failed to change the email address. Please refresh the page to try again. (1)

 

is it my @live account that's the issue or am I just getting a random error

 

 

(sorry for all the prior space, cat was on the spacebar)

I didn't get a database failure, so it's quite possible that it may be the live address, or possibly you have made a typo somewhere. Have you tried again?

 

You should get something like this if you're successful.

I would use something other than @hotmail.com or @live.com.

 

Try it with a gmail account instead.

Thanks ya'll I set up a gmail account and will try that tomorrow as it won;t let me change again for 24 hours

It does that sometimes. It usually works the next day.

I had issues before, but I could submit the change repeatedly, get the same verification email, and it would state that it was a success but never updated my email until the next day which was odd. Their coding needs to be fixed and updated, it's all glitchy I'd try again when you're able to and it'll probably go through. Or try a Gmail just in case because those always worked for me.

I changed my email recently and it updated it in several hours. I was quite nervous when it didn't change right away.

Gmail and Yahoo work well, I have tried both on several accounts.

For some odd reason it takes bit longer to change emails

Glitch has been around since the switch from TNT to JS
It takes a few hours to a day for the email to be updated
