calling all dilfs.
I made a thread like this for Mother's Day. So, here is the Father's Day version!
What is your favorite part about being a dad? Did your kids and families spoil you today?

How unusual that it's the same day in the US and the UK. I'm sure Mother's Day is at a completely different time.
I missed my dad terribly today. Hopefully this time next year, we'll be celebrating it for the Boy.

I'm sorry to hear that @Ali. :c Did you honor him in some way today?
And ooh, I hope so. That sounds exciting for you and the Boy.

We've started the process of trying to adopt, I'm not preggers.

That's fantastic! How difficult is it to adopt in the UK?

Nothing special, dug out a couple of old photos earlier and listened to a lot of songs he loved.
Honestly, that sounds like a lovely way to remember your dad.

We'll find out...I think it varies by where in the country you are. The main problem I've heard/read about it is that they try to match the heritage of the child, with the adoptive parents. Middle class white people don't tend to give up their children for adoption, but tend to be the people trying to adopt. We're in very very early stages, we've had a couple of meetings with our local authority but we can't really do anything else til the Boy moves back from Paris in August.

Happy Father's Day to @Tauriel because she's apparently my dad now.
Just kidding. I called my step dad. He was happy.

Oh I see. Hm. That seems like a challenge. I wish you the best of luck though. My oldest sister is finally approved to foster children, since where she lives, she has to foster for a year before she's allowed to adopt. It's an challenging journey to adopt here in the US. But props to all those people out there who do it.

Happy father's day to all deserving dads out there!
Oh. The only dilf codex approved is @Strategist - no discussion there.
I'm not even sure if it's father's day in Aus, but whatever lol. Happy daddy's day, Mike
@Ali it's great that you and the Boy are trying to adopt a tiny human. I wish you both the best in that adventure.

I posted a message for him on facebook and called him. I don't really care about any holidays that's aren't Halloween so I usually do the bare minimum required.

Happpy Fathers Day all you dads!! And to you mom's who are both the mom and dad!
My sister and I took our dad to the casino today, he won $500 and we came out negative. That's how life goes sometimes, but we had a blast and he enjoyed his day.

Happy Fathers day to all fathers. : )
Mine passed away a long time ago, so I always tell people to cherish any and all opportunities you can get with your father. People can get taken away without any warning at all, and it can really happen to anyone.
