Its free/basic and all my settings are on default except I upped my profit to 8k.

 

If I'm lucky I get maybe 40 mins, only once did Ambrosia buy more than an hour. Here was a measly 20 minutes and 1 item bought. Is this normal?

It's a false rs ban now that shops clear automatically. You can uncheck it in the main shop settings.

Are you using the correct program? We don't support Amrbosia here.
