I'm loving these. I'm honestly tired of people complaining about this game and saying that nothing will happen. It's not even out for everyone yet...

I played in Central Park until level 9 because there was a quad spot and it had lures all day long. Technically I was still in my room, though

Yeah I'm level 9 because Baldman never wants to play after work, even though he promised he'd play with me so I'd walk more. Now I don't even wanna leave my apartment alone since that kid got shot on my street.

And yeah. We have one near us and it's a 10 minute walk.

Meh, imo they wanted to change the dynamic of catching considering they changed the overall weight of the ball which is the most important part of the catching game. Add that along with the aesthetic changes and just seems like they're bending over for us, the consumers, which they should to a degree.

I'll be waiting for catching to go back to what it was in earnest.

If you want to catch something other than Drowzees go to yonge street (theres like 20 pokestops within 2 kms)

 

Also I hate how they changed the weight of balls

Thing run away so much more now. It's so annoying when you waste like 5 pokeballs trying to catch something just for the little fucker to run away.

I started when the game was released here (two days ago), still level 9. I had high level accounts and such but decided to start from level 1 again.

No pokestops near my house, only one near my school so pokeballs are my biggest issue right now x_x

Also, people here are being reported for being high level (because they used fake gps before the release) and it's apparently working. A gym near me had a 2200 CP Dragonite and today the pokemon there was a 330 CP Onix.

There's a lot of gym turnover - it doesn't mean that they got reported. Remember, you get 6 Pokemon to try to take down a gym. And you don't have to defeat them all every time.

Been making it a goal to pick up 3 gyms a day at 6am on my walks. It is doing me well so far, glad to get so many coins.

Haven't gotten anything notable lately besides a 1600 Vaporeon that I evolved.

@Romy That's cool, just as an FYI most good IV pokes come from hatched eggs. Could save you the trouble of checking everything you catch.
