A new update is finally here, and a gorgeous one at that - we got a new (gem) tertiary gene and some new animal familiars!

 

Opal definitely is one of my favourite genes now, look at how pretty it is.

 

Some opals are even two-toned with accent colours, like Sunset!

 

And here's Osiem's official tumblr post showing how all the new snake buddies look on all the breeds! I especially like how they look on the Bogs.

 

 

What do you think of this new update?

I think Opal is OK, but nothing outstanding IMO. It may look great on certain colour combo's but the examples that they gave in the news update look pretty generic to me.

 

The snake buddies are cool, but again, nothing too outstanding.

I like it all. I still don't know if anything can beat glimmer and unicorns though.

Opal's not bad if it goes on the right dragon. It looks cool on Mirrors and Bogsneaks, and horrible on Snappers and Tundras.
