How do you pronounce shit? This can include acronyms and weird words. For example, something neopets related, SuAP...I've always pronounced it 'swap'. Another one is Kadoatery, which I pronounce, 'ka-dote-ery'. Apparently I pronounce buried weird in real life too, like Baldman says 'barry-ed' and I say 'burr-yed'. Feel free to include voice clips of yourself pronouncing interesting neopets or non-neopets related words!

Words/Acronym List
Grarrl
SuAP
Pteri
Kadoatery
Illusen
Jhudora
Aisha
Cache
Posthumously
Hyperbole
Buried

I realized that I said Aishia instead of Aisha, but whatever. Asia is the name of someone I know in real life.

Your pronunciation of SuAP makes me happy.

It's funny, some of them I can tell I'm saying objectively wrong, but I've read them that way in my head so long that it's never gonna change :p

You see, being a non native English speaker, most of the words sound weird in my head, because I tend to mix English and Portuguese pronunciations. I'll try to record me saying the ones on that list tomorrow.

On all the neopets words, I generally pronounce them with the Spanish vowel sounds, consonants are pretty straight forward except maybe for the Jh, which I pronounce like ʤ.
As for the last 4, I know I mispronounce cache, I just can't help myself, an "é" always comes out at the end.
    Oh, and I pronounce burr-yed.

    Wait. We don't pronounce the l? o.o

Same thing with sword. EVERY other word beginning with "Swo-", you pronounce the w, but not here...

    English is so weird.

On another note, here is how I "pronounce" that list of words in my head. Take note that my first language is French.

    http://vocaroo.com/i/s0UvsAY5JJ2Q

Of course, I wouldn't pronounce them like that in a conversation. It's really just how my brain pre-process it.

I pronounce Hyperbole in French if it's in a French context though, obviously.

Sorry for the crappy quality. I don't have access to my own stuff right now :x

I pronounce a hint of the "w" in sword. Like I definitely gloss over it a bit, but I kinda whisper out a w. Almost like I make the w shape with my mouth but don't pronounce it.

OOOOOH, see I'm french as well. As a second language, but I am from Quebec. It must be a french thing. Because I always pronounce the L and I do say 'sw-ord' as well. :p

So now that we've established that we both speak french, let's talk about all the damn words these English people pronounce wrong. Terrace, poutine, ferrero rocher, stores (ie Arden), places (ie Montreal).

    ^^ Exactly! I'm also a native Portuguese speaker. :)

Most people here pronounce the "e" in "cache" (kinda like cash-eh). Our "E" in Portuguese has a very different pronunciation than in English.
The letter "E" (in English) sounds like our "I" in Portuguese, haha!
