R101 donates just fine.  I think that having a variety of rarity seems to get more.

People are posting the points they are getting with rarity they are donating. It looks like it's super inconsistent. It seems dumb to move to a point system then there is no significant benefit to donating specific rarities. :|

r80-89 worth 2 points each (total 10 points)

r90-98 worth 6 points each (total 30 points)

r99-100 worth 8 points each (total 40 points) 

r101 worth 1 point each (total 5 points) 

r102+ worth 4 points each (total 20 points) 

r180 (retired) cannot be donated 

 

If you don't donate in a group of 5, then each item = 1 point regardless of rarity

r98 & 99 - 8 points

r90-97 - 6 points

r130 - 4 points

r80-89 - 2 points (need to check high 80s rarities still) - update: confirmed 2 points for this category

r101 - 1 point

Lower rarities - 1 point

It seems like it might just be most cost/point efficient to a shitton of stuff from the general store (can get 1 point per 50 np) then donate that. Unless you can get something lower than that consistently, this might be the best way to donate for points

Didn't they patch general store shit last year or the year before?

I haven't tried it yet but I saw people saying that you buy it, then just keep refreshing and it lets you bypass the 50 item limit. I still have to donate all the shit I stocked up on before I try that

@CaptainDantes The person in the board clarified: 

"No, I meant if you only donate 4 items. 

Not 4 items of one rarity group and 1 item of one rarity group."

So I guess, if you donate any 4 items, they will only be worth 1 point each, versus what they'd be valued if you had donated 5. I would need to test it though.

Right now sticky snowballs are the most cost efficient item to get points
