they turn you pet red if you dont take care of it like if u dont feed it

Yep! If your neopet is sad, it will turn blue..If your neopet is dying (as in hunger), it will turn red...

Hah, but never die. I played this one pet game where your pets could die, at least the creaters weren't a bunch of pussies like neopets. Of course, I guess having a pet die would cut into their merchandise sales so it'll never happen.Yep! The problem is neopets makes the colour change permanently, meaning if you have a pea chia, you will never know when it will turn blue or red. If it does, all your effort spend on painting the pet is gone. Leave in fear for now !

so does this mean if I have a baby kiko and I dont ever feed her shell turn into a reg red pet? or are painted pets I'mmune?

No longer I'mmune. Neopets knows that most people don't feed their pets so now they want you to do it regularly or else you will lose its colour. The best way is to put them in the lodge.so does this mean if I have a baby kiko and I dont ever feed her shell turn into a reg red pet? or are painted pets I'mmune?

If everyone will to put their pets in the lodge, neopets will set a li'mit for admitting pets in the lodge. They are good in doing such meaningless thing.
