I tried to install gentoo linux
it needed to connect to the 'net to fnish install of components(they should really put stuff like that in the readme...)
and of course, I chose the comp w/o internet access, so now it dun work. I tried installing other version of linux, but it still wudnt work. I tooked it apart thinkin maybe I fried sumthin' but then I relized that without having some spare parts around (kinda hard for a 95 w/ a split motherboard...) I wouldnt b able to fix it even if sumthin was mest up. I put it back together and still nothing. just that little blinking _ thing. I got some 95 install disks and tried 'em, just to find that my floppy drive got mest up. I got a new floppy drive and still nothing. if I disconnect the HD, I get "Please insert booteble media" but if I have it connected and put a bott disk in floppy drive, I just get that _ thing again
