for cable I seem to think that is horrible since I have msn,internet,and files that came on comp only I just reformatted whole thing.

You should use any antivirus other than nortorn...

Anyways,do you have any other stuff that accesses the internet?

Any spyware or adware removal tools installed?

scan for spyware as they normally slow down computers

heh it is not your computer it is your cable connection itsellf. cable is shared and so someti'mes it is slower then others

MSN sucks for cable just use like internet explorer. Because if you have msn as isp, then it's probably horrible dial-up o.o

Only thing you can do is search for a better isp for internet speed.
