I found this site through surfing some old pages. I browsed through it for awhile as a guest and have just now been given membership status. My skills are in web page making and graphic design. I'm awesome with adobe, definately would be willing to help anyone who can code. Anyways Ill be posting a thread on contacting me for this.

Till next ti'me,
Jack.

Hello, there. Be sure to read the rules at the top of the Newbie page. I'm sure if you've been a guest, you understand what is acceptable and what isn't. Other than that, have fun!

Welcome to Codex! I am not sure if I have ever seen a newbie come in with as much skill as you have.  Some newbies are like:

"POST 1: Hi! I am new!"
POST 2: "I like posting!"
POST 3: "Hey, I found something that says I can edit my post!" (All of those were consecutive.)
POST 4: (No post 4, they just came for programs and stuff :p )

Glad to have ya' Jack :)

rofl.....thanks for the compli'ment :) I think its cause I'm familiar with satellite hacking boards.....but thats another story :p rofl I just want to get working on some beta program now or something I can test to get high enough np to win this bet I'm on :p actually I could probably help with the coding if you show me the basics of how to do it. Like common calls and stuff for that language and the format to put them in. And where to go to download helpful libraries and that teach me functions.

I have a file on my other post with a webapge I made once that used a cool layer format instead of just links...its all html though. anyways check it out. you can use the code if you can understand it.....be sure to inform that youre using it though...and dont pass the coding to others :p

try figuring this shit out.....

a+a = b
b+b = c
a+b = ba

ca+ba = d

this is a new math system I made.....I'm gonna base it on 9 instead of ten though.. so it might end up like a+a+a = b  :p rofl oh and heres another file of mine.... its a rug

- sorry thought this was the gfx post

rofl actually d = 8 :ph34r:

its based on binary mixed with roman numerals :nana: I call it binary numerals(just playing) B) actually you dont even have to convert it back...if I drew out some symbols I could just represent it using them.... check this out

1 2 4 8 16  32
a b c d    e    f

1 0 1 0 0 0
                            +
1 1 0 0 0    0

this is the same equation in binary.. you see how its one plus one for 1 so that equal 2 so you just move it over one place...then its two plus two so that equals four then when you move it to the next its four plus four so it equals 8....or D :D

in my system you just have two symbols that equal added to each other equals  the next highest symbol. any combination of numbers can be made by adding lower form symbols after the base symbol.....anyways later it might go

1 3 9 27 81 etc this will play more on the roman numeral aspect by allowing you to use the same symbol twice instead of just once like

37 = DCA
38 = DCAA
39 = DCB
40 = DCBA
41 = DCBAA
42 = DCBB
42 = DCBBA

etc
