[Hydrogen]

Hello everyone. When I came back from inactivity, I promised you all that there was going to be many changes to the way codex is run. Lately, we have been slacking in the staff and admin area. You see, we started to coast on codex’s success and stopped putting in the hard work that makes the gears of this board turn. We’ve started to decline a bit and there is no way that I am going to let that decline carry on any further. I did not put in days upon days, months upon months of hard work to see it go down like this. I know that it is not that serious of a situation right now, but I’m making this post before it becomes one.

Here are some cool things you can expect in the near future. The other administrators and I have deliberated over this stuff for quite some ti'me and here is the compilation of our work:

Graphics section
Special attention will be given to this area, as it is a vital growth point in NeoCodex and allows for a place for people to express themselves in a talented way. We want to encourage that so we will be working on a gallery mod that will cleanly display the pictures you all create, and will also allow you to rate them. We are considering buying the Invision gallery mod for this.

Program section
Currently we are using the codex check system that was developed by Mumei and SL64. There isn’t much that will be happening in this section except a lot of organizing.

Artmoney Section
Artmoney has a really high freeze rate so we will be scrapping the section. We will however have our programmers turn their efforts to making trainers who have a lower freeze rate than that of artmoney. Tutorials for artmoney will still be available as they are what the trainers are made from.

Exploit Team Section
Current junior programmers who are doing nothing will be moved over to the exploit section of the board where they will be using the proxomitron to act as a middleman and alter returned HTML from the server to further benefit us. We will make a section for these exploits so that there can be organization within this as well.

Speaking to Administrators
We will be coming on MSN to talk to you guys way more often now. The chats wont be for any special reason, but we feel that it is I'mportant for us as administrators to know our members better than we already do. To know what their exact problems are. Even though we are only a PM away, its different when you can have a friendly relationship with members . I do warn you all though, that this wont change how we ban people if it is required. The same rules will still apply and just because we are your friends does not mean we will not take action if we need to.

This is just a little preview of what we have in store for you all. Please bear with us and give us all of your support. We may add or remove some things as we see fit.

just to make a quick comment: these are si'mply things that are in store for you guys. they arent things that we are ready to put into place...atleast not all of them. not yet. The msn thing is one of those for sure. When we start doing that full scale...we will let you know

Guests wont be able to see it and only junior programmers will be able to post in it. Members probably wont be able to see it either because thats where we will be talking about trainers and stuff and we dont want our secrets getting out to other boards ... u know
