My real name is Joy, but people know me as Tenshi online. I live in Melbourne, Australia and mainly I have an interest in graphics (digital and real life n_n).

I wouldn't have thought so...

Otaku is a word only westerners use in a positive light, in Japan it's a pretty disgusting insult (it means you are a total loser who can't socialize with other people) - it's a taboo word in Japan

However in Western phrasioligy it has sort of got a meaning of "a person beyond the realm of fandom but into mania" can even mean Guru in some circles
