I keep on getting "Failed. You are not allow to use"

but I did enter my Neocodex username / pw

I couldn't find the rules of when you're allow to use the programs, not just downloading them

someone enlighten a newbie like me please? >_<

Pretty much all the advice i can give you is to close all the programs in thebackground while you are trying to do that or maybe it is a firewall gtrying to prevent you from installing something. Just go through Mumei's steps and you'll be fine. Also try to restart if you are having problems

the Control Pad install is a M$ own - if it freezes, reboot, and don't open anything else - try re-downloading it, other than that i'm not able to comment - there may be something on the net about it

meh, doesnt work for me.
I've got all install files but everytime i log in, it sorta stops at the 'verifying program' bit (this happens for all the ones i downloaded). And it always come up with : "Codex Check Module Version: 3.1.4.0 - DLL validation error - ValidateCodexDLL - 0 -. I'm pretty sure i read something about fixing this problem but i cant find it o.o;

Oh, and sometime the Codex Checker doesnt even come up when i run the programs, and the only one thats worked is the dice-a-roo player (yayz for me >_>;).

sry and thanx

Make sure you put the Ocx and DLL file into you C:/Window/System32 folder instead just download it and leave it there in your download folder smile1.gif . If it still doesnt work then maybe try to uninstall and install Codex check again.

*sobs*
tried and failed sad.gif.

One or two of the programs work though, because the CodexCheck doesnt always pop up. Most still wont work for me though. Could the problem lie in my crappy computer? 0_o

Try this one - it's designed to just test the Check Process

Hi, I'm new to the forums and I've downloaded CodexCheck along with all the required files.
After my logging in, I get the error Failed, You are not allowed to use.

I also get automation errors. This happens on every program. The debug log will be pm'ed to you if needed.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I have downloaded all the required downloads and read your FAQ.
The program results in the same error as the above.
"Failed, you are not allowed"
Thanks for your help.

Vista may be a problem since it is teh gay.
Maybe you downloaded a file you werent supposed to download?

Download the control pad file and the VB files in the required programs folder.

Nvm it works great now! Turns out my firewall was blocking it even though I set it to allow. I had to turn off the entire firewall. Damn you Norton! thumbdown.gif

Logged in , You are not allowed to use - means the program is disabled or is not available to your rank/user

40006 means the program had problems gaining an internet connection (whereas the first attempt successfully connected)

it's probably that you were trying to use an old/disabled program - check the topics of the failed programs and see if they've been disabled

Check the required files section in the download system.

Download the files there, except the generator and codexchex. You then need to go into the CodexChex program and download the files mentioned in the description.
