EDIT: nvm, didnt read above.. its not a standalone thing.. what does that MEAN lol? where do i put my user and pass in then? why is the world so cruel?

when you start the other programs you want to run, you'll be prompted for Codex username and password

The Codex Check is not standalone, it can only be called by other programs wanting to use the functions of the check.

lol i'm a nub but i can't seem to do the 2nd step of this program
2.1: select My Controls

2.2: you should have an entry on the left hand menu, Programmer Tools - Select the View My Programs (or whatever it says)

When i go to My Controls it doesn't hav e a entry on the left hand menu saying Programmer tools or something..

Can some1 help me or provide a screenshot?

The Guide is just for programmers wishing to add the check into their programs - you can ignore that - just download the program you want to run, and see how it goes from there

This is Working for me now but now there is another program whenever i try to log onto neopets using the programs i download from here it just says logging in and doesn't log in at all i leave it for hours and still the same.

Glad to hear it's working, if you can post in the program discussion for the specific program you have a problem with the programmer that wrote it can look and hopefully resolve your issues

Arghh everytime I open Chris' petpet adopter I log in the necodex screen then try to log into the Neopets acount and it says "Run-time error '13: Type mismatch" I need help...

I'm having a problem with my codex check. I added it to my form, added the code, entered the program ID and program name in the code then go to run the program, i press login for the codex check then it says i logged in sucessfully then quits out of the program and the codex check.


EDIT: Fixed by just deleting the codexcheck permissions and resubmitting the program all over again

everything works fine untili get to the login part type it all in the it says "failed to logon to neocodex"
