Long ago when I was still taking "baths," I would practice holding my breath. I could go for a minute and forty. I haven't gone swimming since last summer so it's probably gone down a lot.

suprisingly I can only hold it for about 31 seconds..then my body starts shaking.wierd I dont smoke,got mild asthma which has never acted up for like 8 years, and I'm not that bad at cross-country(long-distance) running.I heard that like after 1 min and 30 secs or sumtin ur brain cells start to die or something like that..not 100% sure on that.

I'm too lazy to count. For all you swimmers [I'm guessing there's very little if any around here] I can hold my breath for a 25, once I did it for a 50 [freestyle that is, I usually do backstroke lol]
