Whoops, ignore me. I thought you were talking about just pure HTML *is a bit groggy in the mornings*

Like "Click here"

HIghlight that, then on the bottem of the program there should be a lbl and text box saying LINK

Just pujt in where you want it to go in there :p

This is what I did, I highlighted the Words that I wanted to be the link and down in the preferences it says Link with abox next to it, in that box put the website address and it should work fine.

I haven't used Dreamweaver in ages. If I remember correctly, you select the text you want to make a link and you set the link properties in the lower bottom left hand corner. It sould say "Link" or something like that.

in the version of dreamweaver I use the insert hyperlink button looks like 3 sections of a chain

you can access it thru the common tab of the objects - or from the menu

Insert>Hyperlink

from either you just type the text you want
then the link to the website *(remember if it's an external link you NEED to put http:\\ at the start)
and the target can either be _self if you want to go there, or _blank if you want it to make a new window)
Title is what you would see if you leave your mouse over it
