Ipod is the only mp3 that can play videos. Even though it is one of the most expensive mp3 players, ipod does come with the most accessories.

Get the Sony NWE-507 It can play fm radio, and it holds up to 1 gig batteries last like a million hours (like 2 days non-stop fully charged, with power saving mode like 100 hours) and recharge time is 1 minute for an hour of play back

While an Ipod Video can only last up to like... 12 hours max with a good battery

    I said with a good battery :)

Ipod Videos battery life is only like
    4 hours max
    2 hours with video play

My friends Ipod Nano lasts only like 3 hours when its supposed to last up to 12 like the thing says

And 1 gig can hold up to 700 songs on sony mp3s

And who in the world needs that many songs?
It's not like you're going to suddenly be kooler with so many songs, anybody can put any amount of songs they want onto their mp3, it's the quality of the music not quantity

Edit: And they are able to hold up to that many songs because it comes with a program that compresses songs from sizes like 5-20mb to 1-2 mb

Yea I agree. I have 200 songs and I like listening to every single one of them. With 7000 songs Im sure there are songs you never listened to and never will.

I personally own a 20 gig creative Zen Touch player. Once charged the battery lasts several days. It has an equalizer with 8 different presets. I like it.

Zen is alright, but it's just like Mac to other PC's, it's just a small time competetor to the Ipod.

I have no say in the Ipod video as I don't own one, but it's a waste of money really since the screen is too small to get a good view of whatever you're watching.

Get a 4GB Nano, it's small, holds quite a bit of music, and whatever anyone says, the battery life is probably around the 12 hour mark, it's always lasted a long time with me.

Although, if you want to listen to alot of music, with your 7000 songs, I suggest the 60GB nano.
