what i mean by bullshit, i mean some of the stuff people believe in. like where the master race or the universe. do you really think earth is the ONLY place that has life? and the whole "he;s testing us" thats bull shit... some are brought up in misery while others are born in wealthh or fame... can you really believe in a god when people like paris hilton are out there...

Main reason I became an appologetic. It seems the more stress I get put under with people constantly attacking my faith, the stronger it increases. It's funny because most people usually break from stress on their religion, because they finally realize it's wrong, but me, nah. The more the better

not really break away.. but just dont have the will or motivation to attend youth groups etc anymore.. I do miss socialising with my youth group friends but theres just so more stuff on my plate now

Thats exactly why I have no understanding of Yahweh whatsoever. Every time someone goes off to pull out a contradiction, hes ABOVE it. He's above logic, but not above having a son...funny. I agree with Islam more or less on the idea that Yeshua was a prophet of sorts. And because of his assistance to the Jews, the romans fucked him over and killed him. Now I'm not saying God or a Deity is deniable, all I'm saying is that Yahweh is the craziest idea ive heard for a good while. Whatever it is, opinions aren't going to change as long as religion stands.

Not that I deny a God or Deity, or evolution. Anyways, I'm going to stay off this thread for the sake of avoiding a waste of time from the same argument which happens over and over. So yeah, don't reply to this, unless you want to waste time.

I was a Unitarian for a while. I can't pretend that I really understood all of it but the main message seemed to be, be nice to other people, respect other religions. I liked that because it was so different from SOME others, "Kill the infidels!" etc. Religion seems to me like a way to make people be good. I mean look at the 10 commandmants, they all seem like common sense and most are really good laws. I think religion was developed to help keep people in line before institutionalized laws and government showed up. I'm not trying to knock any religions, just say I'm not convinced that they're neccesary (sp) and all.
