    i dont get it

are they making sure we have theyr ad up or something?

No, it is their spider bot crawling the web. How else would their search engine work? They gotta know something is there...so a bot...a spider...crawls the web and looks at pages. It normally saves a descriptor in their database, and moves on to the next page.

    oooooh cool

lol next thing we know it says neopets.com :p

Naw, Neo is not a search engine. They wouldn't have bots crawling our pages. If it were just an employee looking at it, they'd be listed as a guest, because it would be an actual person looking at the page, not a bot. =P

If I'm not mistaken, they can't see the entire board as a guest.

I saw MSN and some other one. Are those bots allowed to look in private areas and such?

I doubt it, but I have seen them looking at very very old topics, never new ones.

    I think that's pretty neat.

Little bots, crawling the pages and then leaving.

they are only able to look in public files... you can emulate a bot by changing your headers.
