Do we have anyone working on an auto auction sniper?? If not I would love to nudge a coder down the path :)

We had one but Eggy left and told the admins to take it down.

yah i know See the thing is we dont have one. so I am asking if anyone else is in the process of codeing one or will take my sugestion and make one. Board says I can make sugestions :p

I thought auction snipers theese days were pointless as their new rule to not show time?

Well, couldn't you in theory refresh constantly on an auction until it displays under 30 minutes (or whatever) and simply set up a timer function?

Just have it sit at the auctions that are near ending and snipe anything good. Just have a max price your willing to pay, and have it keep bidding till it ends. Thats the only way you can really do it.

I think the one eggy had functioned similuliar. You put in a bid and told it how high you could go and under what username, and it would make sure you didnt loose the item.
