greeeeeat xDLondon's Sunday Times quoted unnamed Iranian officials as saying that Iran had recruited and trained 40,000 suicide bombers, who were ready to attack American and British targets.
"We are ready to attack American and British sensitive points if they attack Iran's nuclear facilities," said Dr. Hassan Abbasi, head of the Center for Doctrinal Strategic Studies in the Revolutionary Guards.
Iran needs to be dealt with. Give their government the boot

Part of the duty of UN disarmament commission members is to prevent more countries from going for nukes...
...Iran recently did just that, and continues to do so...
Now... they are responsible for preventing what they are NOW doing. They also disobeyed the UNs rules and broke the seals on the nuclear equipment, WHICH THEY ARE NOW PARTIALLY IN CHARGE OF ENFORCING
Do you honestly think they should have a voice on this?

It has nothing to do with having a voice. Iran has always had a voice. It has to do with responsibility. They should have a voice just as much as anyone else , its better than to silence them
They will abuse the system - they already have.
But whatever, I am not so much concerned about it. If the US ever does get involved with Iran, the UN will look even more ridiculous than it did when we went to Iraq, because this time the corruption will be all the more apparent.
You guys have to realise that the US only uses its nuclear weapons to, basically, show off. We have more than any other nation, but would we use it in a time of war? Only as a last resort.
Even IF Iran or - any other country - dropped a nuclear bomb on US soil - would we respond in same? No. We'd go in with conventional weaponry and take over the place and not let anything hold us back like we did with Iraq. Everyone is afraid that a nuclear war will start with ONE nuclear weapon - it won't. It will start with TWO - whoever responds.
We are not so irresponsible as to respond.

Except in this instance that are being given more voice than others on an order that they themselves cannot obey...
What's next, we're going to start putting prisoners on prison committees?

No, I say that confidently with Bush in power. I'd be more afraid of an idiot Democrat who doesn't understand the consequences of his actions rather than Bush - who, we must remember, makes very few decisions without consulting his very qualified staff. I'm still confident, though, that if anything did happen, whoever was in charge would be suitably advised by his staff and the military on the consequences of landing a nuke.Thats a pretty bold claim....bush is still in power
It's not a matter of jumping the gun. Bush has never jumped the gun before. =P But let's not turn this topic into something about Bush.
