Detroit took game 1 from Edmonton last night in double overtime... I was really glad Maltby got the goals, maybe it will boost his confidence and we'll see more out of him.

Anybody else following this series?

Go Wings!

I watched that game. It was really good. Im cheering for the Red Wings, but I hope Rolson does good. I hate how I still like former Wild players.

There has been a few exciting games so far. I think it will be Wings and Devils for Lord Stanely's Cup, and the Wings will win. Damn they are good.

Wings can't pull through in the playoffs. They are a really old team and have trouble coping with the tempo change of regular season to playoffs. Edmonton is troublesome enough for them :p . I'd be honestly pretty surprised if they didn't shut it down in round two.

As for the devils... they have the potential to make it to the finals. They will stomp N.Y, but if they have to face carolina in round two they are in some serious shit. Their goalies the best their is, but he can't take 30-45 shots a game, which is what he'd have coming at him most likely.

If ol theodre is out to prove his point as much as I think he is, then Colorado has a decent chance at the cup, as long as the defence pick it up a notch.

Watch out for colorado and nashville/ sanjose in the west. For east I'd say carolina(unless kovalev and ribeiro decide to play like hockey players, Montreal isn't looking too good) and buffalo are the two big teams.

Shup Pyke. I have Wings season tickets. :p

I do agree though. They won't win the Cup. No way. I'd love to see Ottawa win.

Which is totally awesome because during REGULAR season they are the best there is :p

Ottawa would be a pleasant change. I like them, but I think they need a new captain.

I have Wild season tickets, its a lot of fun going to games all the time. Especially when I get the opportunity to boo at Todd Bertuzzi :)

Yeah, Detroit is having a bit of trouble. The thing is, they have a lot of experience, and are good solid hockey players. Ottawa and New Jersey look pretty good right now in the East (Of course they are both playing lower ranked teams if that means anything). San Jose and Colorado are looking pretty good from the West. I hope Calgary picks it up a bit, I like their roster. I <3 Leopold, he was a great Gopher player. He had a stellar senior year, helping pave the way to a NCAA championship.

They are on the brink right now. Roli is doing a good job in the net, like he did for the wild, w/o him the Wings would probably have won by now.

I'm rooting for Ottawa. They've also been my favorite team and are the only reason why I watch Hockey. Am I the only person who strongly dislikes the Habs?
